Staff was awesome. We liked having a room on the 1st floor, as we had a boat to load and unload and parked outside the door. Room was clean and neat. GOOD BEDS. Nice HOT water for the shower. Very happy overall.
The included breakfast was very limited. Cereal, muffin, juice toast, etc. Not bad, but no protein. Still, not bad at all for the price!

The staff was welcoming, friendly and always seemed to be doing whatever they could to keep the hotel spotlessly clean and to make sure the guests were comfortable. Mary was excellent! :)

The place is nice It has spacious and equipped rooms but the mattress is very high and makes a lot of noise when sleeping, the rooms are next to each other so you hear everything that happens in the room next door.

Great location , very quiet as hotel is currently refurbishing its restaurant and bar . A short easy walk to beach and comfortable beach chairs were available at no charge. Staff were exceptionally friendly , helpful and courteous.
Salter Path Inn is set in Salter Path, 21 km from Havelock. Free private parking is available on site. Each room at this motel is air conditioned and features a TV with cable channels.

The room was more than adequate in size. The bathroom and shower was larger than we have at home. Nice kitchenette with 2 eye stove top, microwave, small fridge, pots,pans, utensils.
Private access to the beach via boardwalk. Bed and pillows comfortable. Hard surface floors were easy to be swept clean of sand. Dollar General across the street. We liked sitting by the fire pit at night. Should have brought s’mores.
It’s in the beach area that which makes it great. Has a lot of shopping options close. Had some great food options around also. Ribeyes and Angie’s Lighthouse Cafe and il Cigno Italiano are great places to eat.

I used to live in the area and continue to come visit each year. We love how easy everything is to access. Sometimes the traffic on the bridge can be rough, but that is normal in summer. There are lots of great shops, restaurants, and bars around.

Their hotel stating pet-friendly really isn't pet friendly. My dog couldn't stay on the beds. We weren't told this until we had already pre-paid the room, with no refunds. We didn't bring his bed because we thought it was a pet-friendly hotel. Also, at check-in, they told us there was no extra fee for the dog. They also told us in an email that there was no extra fee when we requested a pet-friendly room. When we got home the next day, my wife checked her credit card and they had charged $ 241.35 for our room that was already paid for and a fee of $28.19 that they said was a pet fee, mind you in an email and verbally being told there wasn't a fee. They are very deceiving....DON"T RECOMMEND!!!!!

Plenty of shops for the shopping enthusiast and plenty of beaches to choose from to take that perfect walk. Check out the local food , you can find just about any type of food you can think of. If you look hard enough you can see the history of the area and learn how this area came to be.
Affordable hotel, great location. It was a simple room with refrigerator and microwave, no real frills to speak of, other than a simple, continental breakfast, and Wi-Fi, but there is wonderful water pressure in the shower! The room was clean and comfortable, easy to access, and we rode out Hurricane/Tropical Storm Idalia there with absolutely no impacts. We would definitely stay again
The location is great, just a short drive to the bridge to get to Emerald Isle and nearby restaurants. Staff was friendly and our room was clean. We were in a dog friendly room on the first floor and there was a great field right next to the hotel for potty breaks. There is no carpet or rug in the room, so if you bring a dog, bring their bed or something to lay on.
It's a little bit of an older hotel but is very clean and nice and doesn't smell like an old hotel thank goodness. Newly remodeled from. Florence it's really nic, esp for the price! Close to a lot of popular places for summer fun like Emerald Isle.
