Breakfast was great, we especially loved that they offered bagels from a local bakery. Also, in the breakfast area there is a lot of beautiful paintings of western NC that really made this place stand out!

Boone NC & West Jefferson NC both about 20 miles south or north as stated. Hiking & fishing are my thing. Found both in abundance. Plenty of restaurants to chose from. Had baby back ribs one night, southern fried chicken another and fish the 3rd night. All great choices. Getting around is easy but why are you in a hurry anyway; you're on vacation!
