Most of the staff was very friendly. The maintenance staff was not very helpful. I reported a problem and offered a copy of the ADA standards governing hotel room doors. They were not interested.

It is an historic property: the RJ Reynolds Tobacco headquarters to hotel. The conversion has been gracefully done: Respectful of this exquisite building. City views are very nice. Decor is very nice.

The little extras - wine & cheese, milk & cookies and breakfast were so nice. Breakfast was delicious! The staff was great! Really good suggestions for places to eat and shop. And Miss Kitty was a very sweet ambassador. 😻

The overall stay was great . I just wished they had a inside pool. The bed was so comfortable literally my favorite spot . I didn't get to check out the exercise room because I was in love with the bed . And the breakfast was greatttt I love those waffles lol been looking for that brand since I got home. The historic house has so much character and charm but has been beautifully and carefully updated. The bathroom was modern and the bedroom had great personality. I felt like I was staying at a friend’s house!
