First time visitors to this kinda hidden gem on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Checked most of our boxes: beach vibe, cute shops, bars & restaurants, We visited during the week so it wasn't crowded, but some of the best restaurants were closed. The public beach is a short drive from town center, with clean white sand. Lack of waves makes it great for sitting in shallow water to cool off on a hot day.

The rain on Saturday 😆otherwise it was great. North beach restaurant was great. Fields restaurant good but so expensive. The shops were nice downtown. Beach was nice and clean. Rent a golf cart from bodega it was fun. We love Bay St Louis - we go there fairly often. We live in New Orleans it’s about an hour and 20 minutes to get there. Beautiful little beach town

I love the town of Bay St.

I love the town of Bay St. Louis it's just the disgraceful motel I stayed in, I travel there all the time to gamble, eat out and sight see. I want let that one incident keep me away. I love the Hollywood Casino, restaurants and the beaches.

I would not recommend to travelers who are trying to get away from kids. For some reason this is not regulated or have an age limit. Figured being a hotel/ casino kids were limited or not allowed. The pool and lazy river was over populated and no one was following the social distance prota call. We were not able to enjoy this amenity. Also, there was trash down the hall and around the trash can. The king size room is HUGE, could use an update though. The jacuzzi bath tub jets did not work. The location I guess is what your paying for since it is a 9 minute drive to old town. We were able to enjoy the local restaurants and bars but still social distance properly. At the hotel/casino, the inside bar stays open but the outdoor bar near the pool closes around 7 or 8.

We lived in BSL for two years (80-82).

We lived in BSL for two years (80-82). The sleepy little coastal town is now surrounded by cheap casinos. The downtown area has improved dramatically with the addition of various restaurants and a harbor.

Breakfast was good. My husband and I had omelets. A little salsa, bell peppers and onions would have been nice. But nothing to complain about. 😊 Overall this is a beautiful quiet location that is a great weekend escape from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The view of the bay was very serene and peaceful. The staff overall was great but Lexi at the Celebrity Grill was exceptional and a true asset to your establishment. It’s been 10 years since we last visited and the food is still great and hotel is still maintained.

The room was exceptionally clean . Had a very good smell from the time you opened the door. No carpet which I liked ( no dirty stained carpet) . The a/c was so cold had to run it on low . The room seemed much bigger than most hotels . The price was family friendly . The bed was firm which I liked . The down side… no coffee pot, a/c unit drains at the door making it messy , the pillows were flat . Overall, would stay here again .

I traveled here due to sad life circumstances and to say goodbye to my father.. This place was a sanctuary from my storm. It was cozy, clean, comfortable and peaceful. The area is also beautiful. I enjoyed both little cafes near by and PJs coffee. The bay area was a nice break.. Thanks for the little things like coffee!! I'm looking forward to visiting for fun in future.

The setup was great. The outside screened in porch was so comfortable. My girls used the pool every day. The hosts were very professional and gave us the upmost privacy. It was near everything and an easy walk to the beach. It was nice and quiet.
