Excellent location.
This was my 4th stay at Inn on Main. Stayed in room 207. Room was lovely but curtains not dark enough. The room faces the parking lot and it was bright in the room all night. Also, not great water pressure in the shower.
I wouldn’t pick that room again, but overall love the Inn on Main

We came out of season, (boat shopping) Staff awesome and rooms have plenty of space. (faylene/Pflene) was awesome and plenty of parking as only car in town.

Bay Head is a beautiful shore town, similar to Martha Vinvard. It is easy to drive to, walkable to great dining, beach and short drive to Pt. Pleasant Beach boardwalk. It is family friendly and romantic all in the same breathe.

Perfectly charming shore town.
Perfectly charming shore town. One unpleasant experience: got ticketed for parking at a yellow curb which was virtually invisible on a rainy night. $50 fine. Tried to appeal...left a message with court clerk in charge, but have not received a response.
Very good restaurants in the vicinity...Shore Fresh Seafood Market is one.

Food is overpriced because it's a tourist area but there's lots to do and it's generally a good time. Check out the boardwalk and Aquarium. Perks Cafe was so good we had breakfast there both days of our stay.
We were traveling on a motorcycle so we couldn't take all the things we needed for the beach. The hotel had beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and even bicycles to ride if you wanted to use them. I am not a big fan of the beach, but my wife is, so I took her thinking if she had a good time it would make me happy. The hotel restaurant was awesome, the location was perfect and the hotel was everything we needed. We both had a good time and I would certainly stay there again.
Our 2 day stay was great. The beach was a short walk, and it was private and beautiful. The B&B is an older building that is very comfortable. More of a classic beach house than a luxury hotel - but that is perfect for a visit to the beach. The B&B breakfast was a very nice continental style breakfast that had several options, and all were excellent. The B&B had shared bathrooms that were always available, and always very clearn. No problems with the set up.
It was located very close to the beach, the staff was friendly, and the hotel was very clean! They also provide beach passes, beach chairs, towels and buckets/shovels and umbrellas for you to borrow. That was a great convenience for us as we didn’t have to put sandy beach towels back in my car to come home!
The hotel was clean and close to the beach and within walking distance to other eateries and little shops. However, what really made a difference was the staff. They were professional, friendly above and beyond, made it feel like home and very accommodating. 😊
It is an historic hotel that is full of character in a great Bay Head location a block from the beach. We had a family gathering there, staying several nights. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Breakfast was nice. Dinner was awesome. The service cant be beat! I love this Hotel's location. Easy walk to the absolutely beautiful beach. Beautiful area of Bay Head.
Room was nice and clean, fireplace was a nice surprise, check-in was fast and staff was friendly. The inn was decorated very nicely and had interesting art.
