The location is perfect for our needs. Bacliff is a small town, and we like the quiet, calm atmosphere. The hotel is directly off the central travel, making it easy to get to various cities around the area, such as Galveston Island or Kemah. There is a quiet neighborhood behind the hotel where we like to walk around with our dogs.

An old hotel that has been fully modernized. Staff helped us with all our check in needs and were very friendly. Nice reception/lobby area with a lounge and easy chairs. Super rooms, huge with normal bed and TV area, then an extra section with sofa, big chair, table, and a business-like desk and office chair. Very impressed with the space. Could invite a few friends round from another room! Room price was excellent too. Close to the NASA Visitor Center, Clear Lake, and the Kemah Boardwalk. A very nice area to stay in.

The staff and room are all GREAT!! Getting to Kemah is tricky by any other means that is not an Uber or Lyft so consider that. There is plenty of parking in the premises however there are NO FOOD options nearby so if you wish not to spend that much, Uber eats would be the best option. The rooms are like small apartments so you are in for a treat.

The price was great, location pretty good, and breakfast solid. They could keep breakfast service going the whole way to the end time. Pretty clean facilities.

The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was good, and even a few vegan options available. The highlight was the waffel maker. Room had a huge bed, was cleaned and prepared every day and we always had coffee to make in the room.

Loved the location and the pier and the owners where the most helpful and welcoming people.
They have everything if you forgot something they will loan it to you if you lost something they will loan it or give you what you need. Packing up I lost part of a tie down for my kayak and the owner gave me two of his toe down straps to make sure we had what we needed .
This place felt like home.

Overall the stay was good.
Overall the stay was good. We went for my sons birthday to spend acouple days at the beach so we werent in the room but to shower and sleep. The bathroom door had a huge crack on the inside. Not enough towels for 3 people and they were small hand towels. The room didmt have an iron or a coffee maker which would have been nice. The beds were firm and we like softer beds so we woke up with our backs hurting but. Other than that, it served its purpose!

It was very clean HOWEVER the bed was like a cardboard box and the sheets like sandpaper. The hotel grounds needs a little attention.
We have stayed there 2x before but never again. No coffee maker in room and office was locked all communication was via night window.
Location is great, the facilities are great, local pubs and food are great. We had business in Texas City and Galveston over several days and this spot
was a welcome retreat.
Super cute house with ample spaces. One minute walk from seaside and a very good restaurant suggested by the host. Uber from houston can take you to bacliff, in case.
