I loved my time spent in Ann Arbor.. The Hash Bash was very mellow and relaxing. The Walmart we went to was close enough and had everything we needed.
Getting around Ann Arbor was easy with GPS.. We ate at Fritas which never disappoints.

The UofM campus is fabulous and has great energy.
The UofM campus is fabulous and has great energy. Plus there are great restaurants and thinks to do and see on and around campus. Angelo's and Zingermans are two favorites for eating. Great sushi here too for the Midwest.
Make sure you visit the MDen to get some UofM gear or memorabilia.

I liked most of the staff very much.
I liked most of the staff very much. The girl in the morning was rude. The lady at night was awesome. The cleaning lady couldn't wait for me to leave literally. It was 10:30 I was putting stuff in my car and she just went it and began cleaning. My time to leave was 11 not 10:30. Very disappointed won't be staying there again. To expensive for such rudeness.

We are big U of M football fans.
We are big U of M football fans. We went down for the opening weekend game. Fun city with lots of excited fans. Plenty of parking spots to choose from. Many restaurants and shops. We went to the game on Saturday then went back to the campus Sunday to walk around. The M Den is a fun place to shop. We learned that the one downtown is the biggest and has most options.

UMMuseum is great.
UMMuseum is great. Pleasant walk around the campus with several local easily available restaurants. Otherwise little to do but visit with family/friends. Better to spend time in Detroit with wonderful museums/parks/activities.

It is a Michigan University town.
It is a Michigan University town. Perfect place for young people in their twenties. May not be as much fun for older guys 50+ like myself. The downtown is nicely illuminated during X-mas holiday season.
The front desk staff were pleasant and professional. There was not a freezer section in our mini-fridge (other hotels on our road trip had mini-fridges with a small freezer section). I asked to have our freezer packs put in the hotel freezer so they'd be ready to go the next morning when we got back on the road, which they did. The room was very clean. Breakfast was good. A Bob Evans restaurant was located adjacent to the hotel so we did not have to get back in the car to find somewhere to have dinner the one night we spent in Ann Arbor.
This property was very quaint. I liked that it was vintage-like but updated. Also the hotel is pretty close to Univ of Michigan and Eastern Michigan Univ. I did not expect to have a mini fridge and microwave in the room so that was a nice surprise. The air worked very well. The pillows and bed were very comfortable. The TV was easy to connect our Firestick. I appreciate that they offered a continental breakfast (cereal, oatmeal, muffins and fruit)… and the coffee was excellent! And the Trader Joe’s was right next door!
Pat was an amazing host and she made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. She offered a later checkout and/or the ability to hangout in the common area while waiting for my flight out of DTW. Breakfast was outstanding - eggs cooked to order with coffee, OJ, breads, cereals, etc. Fruits, pop, and chocolates were available in the common area throughout the day. I'd definitely love to stay here again when I'm back in town. The location also cannot be beat. It is steps away from UMich and downtown Ann Arbor.
The Stone Chalet was a gorgeous venue with rooms that were comfy, had character, and were very clean. Our room had a fireplace and balcony, and the beds were very comfy. The breakfast was exceptional and the room in which it was served was so elegant. The B & B is walking distance from the UM campus and downtown Ann Arbor. Wonderful!
I highly recommend the Burnt Toast Inn. Fabulous location in walking distance to downtown Ann Arbor. Wonderful accommodations for guests. Delicious breakfast. Every amenity possible is available. Most importantly, a wonderful, gracious, and hospitable owner, Sarah. She made us feel at home. We will be back!

I enjoyed the hotel. It was very different and i liked the architecture. Wish i had brought my swimsuit. The breakfast was fantastic. Would have like some fresh fruit but no complaints. The check in/out was easy.
It was stylish, comfortable, and the temperature was just right. They did not charge a ‘resort fee’, which is very much appreciated because it’s an illegal practice that some hotels are trying to pull off.
Very clean and comfortable room. Excellent location with good bus connections (about 20min to downtown or 10min driving) and lots of food options nearby. Good breakfast options at the hotel.
I am a returning guest. The room was nice as usual. This time, I had to get a rental car and it was convenient that their office is in the hotel. What can possibly go wrong with Hilton?
