Motel 6 is pretty much like the value menu at McDonald’s when I’m used to eating pizza and fried chicken. So I can’t say too much be Steve don’t use their hotels often. However it was convenient, close to our semi parking, and easy to check in and out of. I didn’t like the traffic and people talking all night long outside of my door and the rain caused a few homeless to sleep around our stairs that night. There was a convenient store in the same parking lot, but the floors were hard, the bed mattress was hard , and the microwave and toilet handles were old. I think we had coffee and orange curtains, but otherwise it rained all day and we couldn’t do much but Watch TV
Centrally located at 70 miles south of Portland, 40 miles north of Eugene, 20 miles south of Salem and 65 miles east of Newport, the hotel is an ideal stopover point for all travelers.

They didn’t offer continental breakfast at this location. However, they did offer coffee and tea which my family appreciated immensely.

For some reason - I guess because of ALL my past motel experiences, I expected a reasonably comfortable chair to sit in and a carpeted floor that was not cold/harsh to walk on. Sadly, this was not the case. However, if you like to hear dogs barking, this amenity you'll be happy.

Albany has several great Gun & Knife shows throughout the year. There are plenty of hotels and Restaurants to choose from. Traffic is light, ll-in-all this is a nice Oregon town in between Salem and Eugene and close enough to Portland, if you need a big, formerly nice city.

City was easy to navigate.
City was easy to navigate. They have a nice little airport for traveler's that might like to fly in. The location is close to the state capital and Oregon State University. There are several attraction nearby and an excellent choice of eateries available. The only distraction was the road work near the hotel that snarled traffic.

This is a clean modern hotel close to the Freeway and the right distance for travel from Vancouver BC. We were able to breeze through Portland before rush hour and get far enough south to make the next day very easy on our trip to California. Breakfast is served early and there are many good hot choices, even a veggie omelette.

There is nothing to do in Albany.
There is nothing to do in Albany. Unless you are on a tour of Western towns that had a mill close years ago, there is no reason to stop in Albany. I had to spend a weekend there, and I saw the carousel (it was not running for some reason), and that was about it for us tourists. I would recommend Calapooia Brewing if you happen to be stuck there. That place is cool. Otherwise, I would continue on to Corvallis, or stop off in Salem if I had the choice.

The booking portion was above average.
The booking portion was above average. The check in was uneventful. The temperature of the room was cool and appreciated. This is a statement to the person reading this. You would not have stayed in this room nor would you have let any of your family members stay in this room. Think Stale smells. Many things can be overlooked but not a sickening smell.
The room was a great size. The breakfast was continental and there were several yummy options. The ambiance of the hotel was very inviting upon arrival. The sheets were very soft and the room smelled great! The little gym was almost perfect for my morning workouts! The location is next to the police department which was great for peace of mind! Also, incase it helps you decide on the location, there is an adult store next door haha and a Denny's with a Seahawks sports bar across the street!
Above all the breakfast was unmatched to anything I’ve stayed at in awhile! It was updated, filled with a bunch of great food. And the breakfast attendant was amazing with my two year old running around. The room itself was nice as well. Front desk people were always friendly. Hotel is pet friendly which was why we chose this one. Overall would definitely recommend.
Quiet, comfortable, clean, convenient, & friendly with good walking areas for pets. The breakfast rates highest of any comparable hotel. Large variety including fresh fruit,, yogurts, eggs, biscuits & gravy, bacon, sausage, & even gluten free bread on request. A very friendly breakfast hostess.also. Room location very helpfulcwith dogs.
This is an old Motel 6 property that I thought was still being operated by that chain. It clearly is not. The exterior, including important things like the stairs, is run down and the interior furniture is worn. The mattress was sagging. No Kleenex as provided or daily room service. I will stay in a real Motel 6 or better next time.
Clean facility. Excellent communications with host. Very convenient location to cute downtown Albany and into Corvallis. Nicely decorated and good furnishings. Great to have a kitchen and washer and dryer, wiFi and Netflix. Quiet and comfortable. Very happy with our choice to stay here.
What a comfortable and great place to stay when traveling. The room was spacious with all the amenities we like and well kept up. The employees were all friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts was a full one and the food was well prepared. Wish all of the hotels were this well run.
I like the choices we got to make for breakfast. We understood that covid-19 brought limitation to the breakfast menu but compared to other hotels you gave us chance to pick and choose what we want.
left my credit card in the machine and the clerk eventually reached out to me and let me know. Chinese restaurant next to the hotel served food to go and was only a 2 minute walk away.
convenient to freeway. nice room. good complementary breakfast. convenient and monitored parking. Interesting historic downtown Albany is 2.5 miles away with good restaurants.
