The room was large and well-equipped. The reception was super friendly and nice, there was plenty of parking, and breakfast hours take into account that people leave early for white sands.

They lent us the sleds for the white sands at the reception. The omelette for breakfast was lovely! And waffles! ;)

Breakfast is always good at Holiday Inn. Room was clean, and there’s an indoor pool. Great location to go to the white sands national park. We go to the hotel after we went to white sands, but they also have free rental sleds.

N/A. Not that we would have eaten it. Considering that Hashad Patel owns the property and he is a crook and a lying pice of crap and he owes me money.
What a beautiful and well kept city! Right next to the White Sands with a friendly community. We found everything we needed and didn’t even have time to get to see the Zoo in a neighboring city. We’ll be back!

We were just passing through and planned to see the White Sands the next day, but they were doing missle testing and it was closed, so we had to move on without seeing them. We do plan to go back for a longer stay.

We didn't spend much time in Alamogordo.
We didn't spend much time in Alamogordo. We drove from San Antonio TX, with the purpose of going to White Sands Natural Area. Staying in Alamogordo puts you about 14 miles, easy drive to the area. There are multiple restaurants and gas stations and coffee shops. Some of the restaurant chains were Appleby's, Chili's, Denny's, Starbucks and plenty of other known chains. Along with several Asian restaurants.

Alamogordo is a small town, but hosts many businesses and restaurants. There is an excellent Space Museum, White Sands National Monument, downtown zoo, and local museum. It is a fun destination for families or weekend get-aways.

The NM Space Museum in town was quite good.
The NM Space Museum in town was quite good. The town is also just a stones throw from White Sands National Park. Seems a good place to stop during a road trip. Be sure to stick with chain hotels to increase your chances of a better experience.
We had expected a standard motel room for this booking, but were very happy to find that we got a super sized room which was well equipped and sparklingly clean! The bed and pillows were SO comfortable. The staff here obviously take pride in providing a great service. Breakfast (unexpected for us) was continental style and was very good. Location was perfect for travel to and from White Sands NP and close to the city so some retail therapy was easy too!! Would love to recommend this Hotel.
The manager or whatever he is was very rude there are no signs saying that I could not have any visitors so he was rude to my visitors also which are my kids would not give me a refund did not even stay not even an hour there plus he charged me an extra fee for an early check-in which I did not mind I will never recommend this hotel and I also reported them to the better Business bureau. So I did not like anything from this place.
Wasn't expecting much but the rooms at White Sands Motel were comfortable and exceeded my expectations. Always nice to have a microwave and refrigerator. Also close to some nice dining options. Waffle & Pancake Shoppe across the street was a nice option for a slightly bigger breakfast than what the hotel provided.
The hotel is along the main highway and pretty close to all rests (McDonalds, Denny's Wendy's, Kentucky, and a Chinese restaurant, etc). The best of all is that White Sands National Park is just about 10-13 minutes, just straight ahead. The lady at the counter is friendly.
The overall experience was good. The hotel room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was very good and staff was super friendly. Since we were going to White Sands, we were given sleds to use free of charge, which made our day.
Room was very clean and breakfast was delicious. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. I love that they updated an existing hotel. The price was very reasonable and would definitely stay again if I have the chance.
The best bed I´ve ever slept on! So big and comfortable! I just loved it!
The room is not spacious but it is very comfortable.
It is quiet enough.
The hotel has a good location. Excelent to visit White Sands.
This place exceeded all of my expectations. Extremely clean and well maintained rooms and very good value for money. I can not stress this enough, this is the best 'budget hotel' I've ever stayed in.
The location was great. Perhaps the closest hotel from White Sands National Park. You can find a couple of restaurants in the walking distance (one of them looked like a high-class restaurant).
It was the best hotel room we have ever had. Really cozy and plenty of room, shelves and counter space. The best part was that we could have our pets and they were welcome rather than tolerated.
