Not much there.
Not much there. The main hub is the Sinclair station combo fast food and grocery store. And it is a dry city with the nearest beer 7 miles north. If you are looking for nightlife this aint it. But it is quite and with a great night sky.

There is very little actually in Alamo - It's a good "jumping off" place to other areas. Almost nowhere to eat (although the Sinclair station has a snack bar and a good variety of pre-made sandwiches and snacks).

only a gas station with a respectably stocked grocery store attached for food, so you better get in while its open and serving or you'll be looking for wild scorpions to eat and starving if you dont.

The themed rooms are awesome.
The themed rooms are awesome. Try to book the Alien room if possible. The staff is friendly and the area is quiet. It's a great place to stay if you're looking to drive around the outskirts of Area 51

Alamo is 75 miles from Las Vegas - a good stop after visiting Pioche which is a great historic town. There are numerous motels for every taste and budget but I personally would recommend Sunset View Inn - family run, inexpensive, and very clean and cute.

Very good American/Mexican restaurant, Very good, well...
Very good American/Mexican restaurant, Very good, well supplied general/grocery store, and I believe that it also has a Grill. Alamo is a very small village, but located just under 100 miles from Las Vegas, makes for a very nice stopping spot if you wish to arrive in Las Vegas traffic fresh and rested. We have stayed both at Sunset Motel and the campground (when travelling in our Class A RV). Breakfast at the American/Mexican restaurant is a must.
Only motel available in Alamo. Vern, the manager/owner, was great and morning coffee was good.
The room rate was reasonable but the room was small for two people and definitely dated. The shower was extremely small. Towels, sheets, carpet, curtains etc could use a good cleaning and in some cases, need to be replaced.
We stayed three nights and were surprised that the room was not cleaned or towels replaced during that time.
The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect. We had a family event near by and the area only has a few motels. The room was spotlessly clean and the price was right. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of towels and toiletries. The WIFI was good. The room was small but that is to be expected at an older road-side motel in a rural area.
All of the rooms have themes - ours was the Music Room - so it's not a boring place. Our room was clean and comfortable. I'm happy to have a place to stay in Alamo - there's not much around there. It would be cool if the motel could eventually offer some type of food. Food options are limited to a convenience market, I believe.
The themed rooms are the best! We stayed in the Alien room and it was super fun. It is a family hotel and it is clear they put a lot of effort into making it special, we appreciate it! They also gave very good information on things to do around. The room was comfy and clean and the staff very friendly :) !
We were completely surprised. The hotel manager was so friendly and understanding with our modified booking. The room we had was just amazing. So much love spended in ideas of creating every single room special. Staying in sunset View L.L.C. is a little adventure. Thank you!!
newly remodeled rooms, kind of a theme thing, many details, clean, microwave, fridge
Although outside of Alamo (and Alamo offes ony a gas station with a supermarket and one fast food option) there is everything you need provided from the motel, nice staff
This is not the 4 Seasons but for a small family run hotel this place was great! Each room has a different theme decor. We had 2 rooms, Undersea and Military (Patriotic) very cute. Pet friendly and to our astonishment they have horse stalls!
The rooms were themed and the hotel staff was super friendly. Shoutout to the young man who cleans in the hotel--I was low on gas and he gave me some to get to the closest gas station. Overall an enjoyable stay! Thank you for everything.
The Alamo Inn is a great place to stay when traveling up and down Hwy 318. It sits almost at the halfway point between Las Vegas and Ely. The rooms are always clean and the staff is always friendly.
The staff was very friendly and it was located right off the highway in the middle of nowhere,Nevada! I did enjoy the simplicity of the hotel and town.
