The food / breakfast was excellent for me anyway apart from my partner who found it to salty and the fried chicken to be too dry for her test.

This hotel is really clean. The staff (front desk, restaurant, general team incl. security) very respectful, friendly, accommodating and professional.. not too "in your face". Front desk staff helped me scan some documents, and call up a taxi service using the local swift app (which I eventually didn't use as i woke up late!). I could also access some of the major TV networks from the room and the aircon worked well.
The management team was excellent - I brought in a laptop with the incorrect charger and they supplied the correct cable to allow me to continue with my work, and their overall professionalism was highly appreciated. They're very well spoken and work to resolve issues immediately. The wifi worked perfectly over the full duration of my stay. I spent most of my time traveling to other parts of Kampala but the food I had at the restaurant was really good. The hotel is in a developing suburb but I noticed offices for some US-based organizations and a govt agency on the same street.
The only downside to my trip was traffic congestion around the city, so trips must be well planned to avoid peak time traffic.
My overall experience in Uganda was really amazing, everyone was so kind, friendly and accommodating. I unfortunately didn't make the trip to Bwindi to see the mountain gorillas but hope to return soon!! I've left Kampala with a new perspective on life.
