Very good breakfast considered that it s included in the price. Location is a bit outside of the city but if you like to walk or experience Marshrutka (n. 7) you can easily reach the city center. Very nice playground for kids, pool in summer and other games. (Playstation). Possibility to have lunch or dinner at the restaurant with very convenient prices (compared to EU countries) and tasty food.

I'm out of words to explain how grateful I am for this place when travelling In/Out of Ukraine via Hungary. Hotel staff is absolutely professional. The administrator Yuriy is an absolute gentleman, he was so kind an attentive.
We stayed one night, but I will be booking soon for my return to Ukraine. The room was quiet, clean, everything you need, comfortable bed.
They had our breakfast packed for us to take it away, since we departed around 7am. Such gestures are above and beyond what we are paying for.
The attitude from the personnel is just impecable. The infrastructure of the place is really nice, I had a pleasant time drinking some wine and eating their tasty food after 10 hours driving from Kyiv.
As I said, this place is on my "favourites" now, I will be staying here or eating here anytime I cross the region.

I was probably staying in the largest room which they had and I was shocked with the size. It was literally an entire apartment for myself - huge living room, bedroom, kitchen with all the facilities, a massive bathroom with jacuzzi and my own sauna! As I booked this room just to stay overnight and not to wait at the train station, unfortunately I couldn’t use all the facilities during such a short stay.
The room was clean and dark, the bed was comfy, all the facilities were new. The place has lots of storage and I think it can easily be used by two couples.

Nice and and beautiful city in Transcarpatia just next to Slovakian border.
A little crowded due to many internal refugees but doesnt feel bad. You don't notice war. City has a lot of history an interesting castle and a lot of restaurants with local great wines and splendid regional food.

to pass the border...the passport control is very problematic..take lot of time because the Hungarian side is..not helpful..
next to the hotel there is great local restaurant . very recommended.

A very interesting Ukrainian city, with a strong Hungarian heritage. The castle and attached outdoor walking museum are always interesting to visit. There's a small, but lovely historical city centre, and a great river walk. There's a number of nice parks. What I enjoy about Uzhorod, is that it is a very walkable city. It's not necessarily jam packed with museums, and other such tourist attractions, but it has a great atmosphere, and lots of good restaurants. I live in Ukraine, and have made Uzhorod my summer vacation spot. I highly recommend a visit.

The best part is the river-side walking path with lots of trees and benches. Downtown walking district is also nice with some cafes, and you also need to visit the local market with ladies from neighboring villages selling their own handmade products, vegetables, milk, etc.

Nice laid back city, with harmonious mix of city life and nature. Not so much Ukrainian atmosphere, since the Carpathian mountains separate Uzghorod from the rest of the country.
By the way, great Hungarian restaurant opposite the castle (only when the male chef is cooking) with quiet terrace during evening hours in summertime.
Travelling to the rest of the country is only possible via Lviv and Kyiv. This should be considered. If you like travelling by car; beautiful scenery. If you travel by train; it will take you many hours through beautiful landscape.
I managed to book a room last minute, and I am happy I did. This is a whole package, nice, clean rooms, reliable wifi, café with delicious and reasonably priced dishes, and small grocery shop on the ground floor. Room is good sized, clean, without even a speck of dust on the floor. Comfortable beds not too soft mattress, hot water in the shower. Hotel noise is average based my experience. Well worth the price. I am glad my original booking fell through and I ended up here last minute.
The hotel is nicely located - it is just 3 minutes away from Uzhgorod Castle and a short - 7-10 minute - walk to the city center. This is a renovated house dating back to the 17th or so century. It had a nice yard where it could be wonderful to sit outside if you travel during warmer months.
The rooms are comfy and clean. You can order breakfast from several options on the menu, all nice and tasty.
In a neighboring house, there is also a good restaurant with Hungarian cuisine.
It is called "hotel & hostel" and that's basically already setting the expectations. Don't expect too much from a hostel type of property for this price. We've booked a family room which was 1 big bed + 1 bank bed. That was just a big room with beds and TV and en suite bathroom. The room was okay to spend 2 nights for us. The staff was nice and helpful. The property also provided a baby cot by our request.
The host was very helpful, we asked him about anything before the trip. The apartment was a miracle: it was perfectly equipped, clean and had everything we needed. The apartment itself is also close to the city centre, so easy to get to. All in all, the perfect choice if you are in Uzhhorod.
We traveled by car, so we appreciated the parking. There was a nice restaurant near by, which was convenient.
The hotel itself does not stand by the road, so it was quiet there.
The hosts were very nice.

This is my third time staying at the Hotel Arizona. Uzhgorod has become my summer vacation spot each year, in large part because of this hotel. It is centrally located, and has a fabulous aqua park. I will continue to stay at this hotel every year.
I like a room. The room is really big and comfortable. I relaxed and worked in the room.
Also, the hotel combines the hotel, the restaurant and the market. All what you need are in the one building.

Everytime we're in Uzhhorod we stay here. It's a beautiful hotel right in the center of everything, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the rooms and standards are completely western and first class for an incredibly fair price.
I have already tried more than 10 hotels in Uzghorod, but this one is one of the best. Very good restaurant, breakfast and services and facilities. I just missed a full bar in the room.
Very nice hotel near Ukraine/Slovakia border crossing. Best location to spend the night if you are driving to Europe. Restaurant there is also amazing, very much recommended
