Always have a fondness for Ilan, Luodong is definitely a beautiful county for people to visit and stay for like 3~4 days. You'll love it if you also like the country life but not far away from the convenient city life.
The sports park nearby is a hidden gem in Luodong where you can experience a natural Eco park that was accidentally created by interesting landscape design. Lots of birds there, and cozy to walk.
Also walking through the rice fields to the park is pleasant.
Hostel owner is very friendly and tried his best effort to make guests feel comfortable. It's a startup hostel, so it's new and welcome guests.
It is located 3 mins walk from Luodong train station and 7mins walk from luodong night market. There is convenience store which is only 2 mins away, supermarket is right behind the hotel and a laundry shop that is 5 mins away. Spacious bathroom with bathtub. There is a balcony that offers city view. Good spread of breakfast choices though most dishes are repeated daily.
Like to commend particularly on a hotel staff, Mr Lin Hu Ge. It was a cold night, and Mr Lin took the initiative to buy a take-away packet of local hot noodles for my mum, as he was concerned that she (senior age), from a tropical country, may not be used to the cold weather, It was a very thoughtful gesture, and the noodles were delicious.
The host was very thoughtful and welcoming, gave us a thorough introduction to the place, prepared delicious breakfast for us, and kept the place to be extremely clean. Our room was even upgraded for free. It's very good value compared to the price and I would recommend it as one of the best in the Yilan area.
The room was spacious and catered to our needs being a family of four with two energetic kids.
The location was conveniently located 400m to Luodong station, and 500m to the night market. All amenities are within walking distance (post office, hospital etc)
Great for kids. They can play on their own and parents can walk to nearby luodong night market to buy food back. Water temp and pressure is good. The fridge is very cold. There is water dispenser and table for eating at the shared area.
Rooms are comfortable , location is excellent , lots of shops n eateries right outside the hotel . Hotel also provided free washer n dryer, you just need to buy detergent either from hotel or at 7 Eleven next door
Few steps away from the night market. Hotel staff is chatty and I have gotten a free upgrade for the 2 rooms that I have booked. The double room is nice and spacious. Breakfast and wifi are ok. Bed is nice too.
Great location, near the train station (from the front of the hotel, you could probably kick a football and hit the train station). Staff were very friendly. Room was fine.
Bathroom is spacious, have full amenities and big trashbins.It's a big plus point when you hardly find any public trashbin and must take all your trash with you till hotel
Cute hotel. Staff is nice and trying to help. For vegeterians, it shows where there's no meat. Shower and sink small a bit but I guess typical for this area.
