This hotel is a bit basic but it is run very well and keep very clean. The room, bed and bathroom very comfortable. The sheets and towels were clean and fresh. Strong AC which is necessary for this humid city. Within 5 minute walking distances there are some nice restaurants. A two minute walk get you to a great little convenience store call Snack Pot where you get good, healthy sandwiches and meals at a very affordable price. A short taxi ride gets you to the downtown. I would definitely stay here again.
Woodbrook on the Avenue offers air-conditioned rooms in Port-of-Spain. There's a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay.
