Excellent hotel with very nice rooms. Mehmet and his staff are super nice and they go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. They also booked all the tours and transfers for us. Wi-Fi is good and available everywhere on property. Very quiet place 10-15 minutes walk to downtown Urgup with lots of dining choices. Rooms are spacious and very clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast had lots of choices. Excellent breads, a la carte omelletes, cheeses, yogurts, fresh fruits lots of jams etc. Also a big bonus is that this hotel has an elevator. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very cozy family hotel with incredible friendly staff.
They were ready to help every single moment. They arranged all the transportation, excursions and so on. The front seat worked 24/7. The night front desk manager Eray was always helpful and always on duty. I felt very safe and welcomed there.
Also the property was in the heart of Urgup that made it very easy. Highly recommend!

Very beautiful building, inside and out. The husband and wife who run the hotel are very kind and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and i loved the heated bathroom floors. I was able to wander down the road before sunrise and find a cool spot overlooking the hot air balloons taking off.

As elsewhere in Cappadocia, the centre of Ürgüp is full of lovely old stone houses clustered around a central rock formation, in this case Temenni Tepesi (Temenni Hill, Wish Hill).
It makes a good base for visiting all the main attractions of Cappadocia, including the rock-cut churches and the underground cities.
There is a small local museum inside the park in the centre of Ürgüp.

A friendly town with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. It felt safe to walk around at night, the shops remaining open until 10pm which is helpful if on excursions all day. We found a very helpful taxi driver who took us to various places for a fair price. It has a Hamman which I would loved to have tried if there was more time

It's a quieter town and by that i mean it's very different...
It's a quieter town and by that i mean it's very different from Goreme. If you want quiet - come here. We did have a car which was absolutely a must and when we wanted to go to Goreme, we took cabs. They do alter the prices here and there on the cabs, but standard price was 170 TL each way.

Urgup was a nice smaller town that was cheaper than Goreme. We still had access to activities and most companies still picked us up at our hotel for the activities. The food was less expensive than Goreme. We walked the alleys and side streets and enjoyed seeing the architecture.

Small town with beautiful views. It doesn't feel as "Vegas" as the other towns, a calmer and more local feel. Restaurants, markets, travel agencies to arrange tours, and souvenirs. Very close to all the sites.

We were very happy to go to Urgup as it had a few of...
We were very happy to go to Urgup as it had a few of authenticity to it… both Goreme and Uchisar seemed smaller and more touristic! We had many apéros and tried many restaurants on top of the old town overlooking the beautiful old city!
we had a lovely stay at the Seraphim and made the start of our trip around Turkey very memorable. The staff and extremely helpful, kind and always have a smile on their face. whenever we asked for something or asked about the area they where always happy to help us and share their knowledge without hesitation. I really can’t recommend this hotel enough if you want somewhere quiet but close to all activities which Cappadocia (Kapadokya) have to offer this is the place for you!
We arrived late in the evening. Due to a mishap, we arrived in Cappadocia a day before our reservation. Luckily, the folks at the Hotel were more than accommodating when we asked them to move our booking forward.
Our hosts also helped us book a car so we could watch the balloons rise in the Red Valley. After returning, we had a delightful breakfast buffet and rested a bit more before checking out. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay.
We loved everything! The staff are so kind and welcoming, they really care and cater to your needs. The hotel is beautiful, with great rooms and views. We loved staying in the cave room. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful, the best breakfast we’ve ever had on a vacation. Location is great, we liked staying a bit further away from Göreme, in Ürgüp. Quiet and peaceful. We definitely want to stay here again. :)
The hotel (converted green mansion) is amazing, every room is very well decorated and pleasant. Also provides really tasty breakfast(free with our room) and the in-hotel restaurant offers good dinner dishes too.
The hotel is at a great location (walkable to Urgup downtown), and the hotel staff were all super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend if you are visiting in Cappadocia. Very unique experience!
That's very nice choice according to price and quality. Main point it's so kindly and helpful people who works there. Nice location, just few minutes by walking to the center of the city (Ürgüp). And about 12-15 min by car to the Göreme city. Room was clean. And this "stone" environment of the room (and hotel in general) perfectly fitting to the Cappadocia area. Thanks for the hospitality)
This was a magical place, very tastefully decorated with excellent facilities and very attentive staff. Especially enjoyed taking walks around the beautiful gardens of the hotel with scenic views of the Cappadocian landscape. Our dinners and breakfasts in the Zeferan (Safran) restaurant were outstanding. It's location is great. Will make sure to come back again.
Cave Art Hotel is is located up to the hill. From the dining room you could see beautiful Cappadocia. The room was big and cozy, equipped with electric kettle and glasses. Private bathrom was big and clean. Staff were very frindly, they answered for all our questions and requests

We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. This was the best experience we had in Turkey. Very helpful and friendly staff. The manager even accompanied us to visit a few local shops. The quality of foods was excellent. The hotel offer complimentary swimming pool, turkey sauna, they are top quality.

Excellent cave hotel. We had a great room, with a huge Turkish bath included. We stayed for 2 days for the anniversary and received from the hosts a big cake and a nice arrangement in the room. Excellent breakfast with quality products, some hot, cooked then. I recommend it to anyone visiting Urgup.
It was perfect the days in Calypso Hotel. The breakfast was amazing and the room it's really nice, looks like a cave. Everything was really clean and Ahmet and the breakfast Lady were great, so friendly and helpful. I felt really great there!
Everything on the Elkep Evi Cave Hotel was above our expectation, in fact it was the best accommodation we had on our Turkey trip. The Manager and the staff made us feel like home, thank you for all. Too bad that I cannot give grade 11 :)
