We have stayed at the Pataros hotel before, several times, and love the fact it hasn't changed. The staff are amazing, as is the food, and it is such a beautiful location. We didn't want to leave.

Best place to stay in Patara. Located close to the Lycian hiking Trail, it will do perfectly as a base for local hikes, or one night sleepover on your way. Comfortable beds, everything was clean, and the balcony door had a mosquito net. We loved the breakfast, it had everything: cheese, eggs, olives, veggies and fruits. On the opposite side of the road was very nice restaurant to have dinner. We stayed there three nights and loved every moment. Big thanks to the Turkish guy from staff speaking good English, he helped us find an alternative Lycian Way hike and even drove us there!
Surrounded by a green garden with colourful flowers, this family-run property is situated in the peaceful Gelemis Village.

Very nice little family-owned place, we were the only guests
. Only one of the owners spoke english, but we felt welcome. Nice garden with chicken running around. Delicious fresh homemade bread for breakfast. The shower stopped working, but they fixed it right away. Would come back!

Visited a couple of times before. Village restaurants not so good as previously. Simbar charging more than in Kalkan for cocktails! Village generally very quiet this time, no buzz, however first time visiting in Sept, which may account for this. Bus timetable not worth publishing as they come when they want and don't always go to the bus station.

Despite its popularity, Patara remains a traditional Turkish village. This is because it is protected for both archaeological and nature reasons. Turtles nest here. We visit regularly. It is all accessible on foot but if it's very hot or you have trouble walking any distance, it is best to get the dolmus to the beach. Yes, you have to pay to enter the beach but this is because it is part of an archaeological site. The beach was very, very crowded on a hot summer weekend (avoid in high season if you don't like crowds) but it is so long it's easy to find space to sit and swim. Patara is very convenient for visits to other sites like Xanthos and Letoon.

Patara must be the one of the most perfect holiday destinations. An enormous, world class beach which means it is never crowded.
In addition you walk past or through the excavated Lycian and Roman ruins of the ancient port city - amazing!
And, of course, the wonderful generosity and good nature of the locals.

The village was small and very chilled with no hassle.
The village was small and very chilled with no hassle. I'm a single Mum and went with my 11 year old daughter and it was such a safe environment. The people were really helpful and friendly. It actually reminded me a bit of Guatemala, bit of a hippy laid back vibe, no McDonalds etc in sight! The beach was amazing, great waves for body boarding and miles of golden sand with only one beach restaurant, so unspoilt! Surrounded by ruins and a laying ground for turtles has ensured Patara beach isn't flooded with shops, beach bars etc, so 10 miles of loveliness. Best beach I've ever been to in Europe easily... Food in Patara is really affordable, booze a bit more (Muslim country) but fine. Some restaurants don't sell booze but plenty do! Spent so much less this holiday than in Greece. I never usually go to the same place twice but would seriously consider returning to Patara. Loved it!
The view from the balcony is really nice, towards the mountains and a town below. The garden of the hotel is really beautiful, full of various plants that create a really cozy atmosphere of the place. Another plus is that the breakfast terrace is located just above the garden, so you can enjoy this nice place even more. The breakfast is good, one of the few hotels I've visited in Turkey that serve delicious cookies :)
A family run business with helpful staff. The breakfast was rather plane and the balcony was nice. Patarra beach was rather far from the property, but well worth a visit. It was, by far the best beach we visited, as it was sandy, empty of tourists, close to some ruins, and generally ideal except for the long and arduous walk required to get to the water.
Nice cozy location with excellent view and clean house. Enjoyed the pool and the Host was excellent in answering any Qs or needs. Will visit again. You can drive around and discover many beaches all the way to Antalia!!!! Many restaurants close to the Villa and the kitchen was fully equipped!!!! Many thanks for sharing your property with us!!!!
Staff were great. We were warmly welcomed by the manager Hasan who helped us with checking in. Merve is great too and the pool
boy as well (forgot to ask his name) and of course Hatice who is a great cook. We had all of our meals at the hotel thanks to Hatice. She rocks! everyone else was great and we loved the whole vibe and atmosphere there.
This was our favorite place to stay in Turkey. The couple that run it are so warm and giving. The location is perfect, nature all around and a great beach 10 minutes away. The town has everything you need great restaurants and very friendly locals! The room and property are great and watch out the dog steals hearts….!
Such a nice place! We felt like home! The host was so friendly and helpful! Gave us some tips about the area, it was a pleasure to talk to him! The pool was great, the location is so convenient - near the beach, two minutes by car. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful and delicious! I recomend it 100%!
We had superior bungalow which was very nice, comfortable and clean. It seems that basic bungalows as well as camping ground is nice. It has great location, right in the centre of small Patara. Breakfast is great! Staff is extremely friendly. The do speak English, French, Turkish...
This is a very good budget option in Patara. The accommodation is basic, but clean and everything works (including aircon). The staff was very friendly, the location was fine, and the fairly basic breakfast was improved with fresh-baked bazlama bread.
Perfect place to stay. Very friendly and responsible staff. Great view. Tasty breakfast. Nice pool and green hotel area. Ancient city Patara and Patara beach are not far from the hotel (you have to pay for entrance).
the pension was very clean, warm hearted owner and his wife, in the center of the city and close to the beach and the ancient city
very nice, healthy and generous breakfast
Great place to stay when visiting Patara beach. Rooms are very clean and cosy. Breakfast was also great and owners are extremely friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is located in a small town near patara beach, its like a little piece of heaven. The garden and pool area are unique and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
