Loved the appearance of the hotel and rooms exceptionally clean , loved being right on the beach, hearing the waves, sitting on the terrace in the morning with a cup of tea and G &T in the evening. The view is to die for. Pay the extra for the sea view. The staff were incredible, very professional eager to please. Food was delicious. It was a buffet but Turkish food, exceptional quality and variation. Umpteen vegetarian dishes. Quality alchol, all named spirits such as Absolut Vodka, Gilbey's Gin. Good selection of cocktails.
It is a very small quiet hotel, fabulous for being adult only. There's no night life as such, just sit back and gaze at the stars. If you like night clubs, bars variety of entertainment then this is not for you. The bars close at midnight and then the whole hotel goes to sleep fantastic.
This is a 4 * hotel, does not have the slickness that the other super class hotels have but it has absolute charm and the owners, who are there daily really do care about the place and want enjoyment for their guests.
It is difficult to leave the property as it is about 20 kms from Side. A taxi ride takes about 15 minutes but is 30 euros each way. There's a bus service at the top of the road, 5 minute walk away. We were quite happy to stay, relax on the beach and read

We loved everything about Hotel Grun, Its quiet and beautiful and you feel very much at home with the staff being warm and professional. We came here as whitewater kayaking athletes and needed a base to hang up all our gear and park our car. With the car park just outside the hotel, and good facilities to our needs we loved it here. The breakfast was delicious, and the swimming pool refreshing.
This was a really relaxing stay. The atmosphere is like in club hotel. The effective and attentive staff knows all the guests and calls everyone by name. We got acquainted with many pleasant people. The role of Helen and Alla in creating such an atmosphere is hard to overestimate!
