One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in!! Excellent terrace views, delicious buffet breakfast each morning, clean and comfortable rooms. What stood out the most were the staff members. They were all so friendly and the hotel manager was helpful which made our stay and holiday in Goreme stress free. We were offered çay (tea) throughout the duration of our stay which made us feel at home. We booked our tours through the hotel and they were excellent right from pick up to drop off. Beautiful and vibrant city! We stayed 3 days but I wish we had been there for at least one more day in order to take advantage of all the activities.The city is very walkable and compact but there are hills.
Lodging: There are many cave hotels scattered throughout the hills and are quaint. We stayed at the Elite Cave Suites which was clean and efficient. I looked at a few other hotels and they appeared to offer the same things; rooms built into the mountain, breakfast on a open terrace etc. Some even had pools. All offer to book your tours and had discounts which was helpful.
Eating: There are many, many restaurants to choose from that are within walking distance of the hotels. We ate at 3 of them and all served delicious food and regional specialties. We had a person with a food allergy in our group and each restaurant was helpful in providing information on ingredients in the dishes. The specialty of the region is a dish baked in a clay pot and then cracked open at the table for you to eat. Delicious and filling.
Activities: balloon rides, ATV riding, horseback riding, hiking, tours, Hamam experiences.
This is a great base for doing local tours in Cappadocia to the surrounding archeological and historical sites. We had rented a car and drove to many of the sites ourselves but a guide would have been useful for history and background.
All in all a beautiful place that was clean and welcoming. Highly recommend and would return tomorrow!

We loved the rock formations, cave dwellings, and churches; they're truly fascinating. The area is touristy, so you'll find good amenities, but it also means you'll encounter influencers focused on taking fake photos, which can be entertaining yet irritating. However, if you have a car (which I recommend), you can escape the touristy spots and explore more interesting and secluded sites.

Goreme is a perfect place to stay.
Goreme is a perfect place to stay. Very walkable and only a 20-minute walk away from one of the famous the UNESCO parks. If you head off the main strip (which is quite touristy and busy) you will find plenty of fabulous restaurants, Potato Cafe, Inci Restaurant and the Adylini Cave Hotel,
The hotel caves are fabulous, and the highlight was the hot air balloons. We chose Voyager Balloons, and they did not disappoint.
We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and it was perfect, IF you are a hiker you will love it too.

Favourite place to eat: Göreme Han Restaurant. A true Turkish restaurant with traditional dishes. No Burger King or Chinese, when I travel I like to eat like the locals and I got this here. Ate all my meals here.
Göreme is easy to walk all over and beautiful.
There is nothing I would try to avoid on my next visit.

Very nice city to visit. Recommend having a car if you are fine with driving. Driving had no issues as long as you stay to speed limits and rules.
Many places to visit from Goreme and so much to see. Not congested and looks very laid back and remote but has everything you need.
Zara Cave Hotel has an authentic fairy chimney cave room. One of 6 in the city of Göreme. If you are looking for a true cave room, they have them! Breakfast was a delicious buffet. Multiple terraces made for great views of the city and comfy places to hang out. You are right in the middle of town, walking distance to restaurants, open air museum, Pigeon Valley, Love Valley and more. Internet was great, hot water always worked. Tea and coffee available all day. The manager speaks great English, knows tons of history and can help with anything.
Cem and his staff were very helpful during our stay at Goreme Mansion, he arranged everything for us from busrides from the airport to the door of the hotel, to tours and even SIM-cards and HES-codes for our stay in Turkey. You can clearly notice his passion for making your stay the best experience. The hotel isn't the biggest and croudest, but we thought the typical Turkish köy house and breakfast, the unique cave experience, the quiet environment and central location were ideal for a short stay (3 days) in Cappadocia with my sister.
Han was so helpful at Arif Cave hotel! We arrived and were immediately given an overview of all the experiences/tours we could do so we could plan our stay. Staff were incredibly helpful and the facilities were beautiful! To me this truly seemed like one of the best hotels in Cappadocia and was such a great value. We would 100% stay here again if we make it back. The hotel has a great location, staff, facilities, and is a great value as well. I recommend the cave suite with the balcony and skylight if possible!
This family run cave hotel is in a great location close to the center of Goreme. The entrance is very nice and people stop by to take pictures there. The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to help you. Cem, the owner, is super friendly and will help with arranging everything from airport transfer, tours, hot air balloon rides to hammam without any hassle. Breakfast is also great. My friend recommended the place to me and I will recommend it to anyone planning to visit Cappadocia. A great find!
I recently stayed at the Aydinli cave hotel in Turkey and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of service and amenities. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and made my stay all the more enjoyable. One standout feature of the hotel was the delicious breakfast spread each morning - there was a wide variety of options to choose from and everything was fresh and well-prepared. The location near the city center, spa bath, cave hotel atmosphere, helpful and friendly staff – I can say it was a perfect stay in Cappadocia for me. Especially the breathtaking view during the morning time with seeing hot air balloon from the bathroom window and terrace was incredible. The cool weather in the morning and at night, along with the sight of the balloons while enjoying a hot coffee, made it a perfect match. Definitely worth the stay!

If this is your first (only?) time in Cappadocia you *have* to stay in the heart of everything: Göreme. And when it comes to having a first-rate spot to take pictures of the balloons each morning, few places could beat Panoramic Cave Hotel. It is only a 3-minutes walk up an admittedly steep hill from the shopping street. The staff is without exception kind and helpful. Breakfast is ample and delicious.
Staying In a cave hotel was a unique and one of the best experiences.
The room we stayed in had a lot of charm with seating niche areas and a hot tub/bath tub. The cave hotel is uphill and offers fantastic views from the terrace on Goreme and the hot air balloons. It takes 5min to go down to the centre which is very convenient and a good exercise to come back.
The property is simply beautiful and we think after visiting some of the other hotels, this is the most unique property in Göreme! A lot of love and pride goes into maintaining and running this family own cave hotel. The staff are always ready to help and make your day as smooth as possible. The views, well the views are just stunning!!! Highly recommended!
Homey cave hotel, clean and tidy. Excellent breakfast. Close to Göreme city center. Staffs are very friendly and helpful - Meytin helped us book our day tour, airport transfer and checking out air balloon companies (as we came during bad weather and none was actually flying). we definitely will come back here when in Göreme!
Amazing location! Our stay was really fantastic in this full luxury - but extremly special - cave hotel. every morning you have balloon flight view from the breakfast room and every evening the lights of Göreme chimnies. Also a lovely cave wellness is located in the resort.
