Afyon for me is just a "pit-stop". Shopping or resting by the night. Can't say too much but it seems to be a decent town with decent people. Anyway, I might recommend the shopping center (including food and beverage locations) and I might not recommend the Burger King (across the street).

Afyon is rich in history, from the Hittites to the First...
Afyon is rich in history, from the Hittites to the First World War when British and other prisoners of war were held there.
It boasts many historic mosques including the Selçuk era Ulu Cami with its many wooden pillars.
The castle atop its crag looms over the entire city and is worth the climb for the view it affords.
Many of the old houses at the foot of the crag have been restored in recent years, some are open to the public as museums or restaurants.
The food in Afyon is justly famous. Visitors should not leave without trying "Manda Kaymağı" - a sort of clotted cream made with the milk from water buffalo.
I saw the good point on the booking.com for comfortability and cleanness, but the not good point for the breakfast.
On the contrary, cleanness was not good (especially in hamam, but the breakfast was not bad.
Also my husband ordered omlet (it would be cost 20 Turkish lira) but a woman in the front desk didn't charge for it. She said it's on us.
I choose this hotel because of the spa but it was very poor, not worth to choose.
Still the staff in the front desk, kitchen and bellboy was very friendly and nice.
Everything was just perfect! Location - right close to the main road, the room was clean, comfortable and with some nice features (e.g. the hammam in the bathroom), the staff - very polite and helpful, the food was also very good - you can have a dinner at the hotel's restaurant for a very reasonable price. We will definitely visit Aforia Thermal again and will recommend the hotel to our friends!
only one word can descripe this hotel: PERFECTION!
Everything was beyond our wildest imgination! super nice and super clean rooms and if someone would tell us that we were the first to use the room we would believe!

we are planing to change our route back home just to spend one more night in Aforia !
Great hotel with so competitive staff and management!
When we arrived at the hotel we had a good time with comfort rooms, so clean everywhere, nice breakfast and dinner.
And also hotel management was so very kind for extended our reservation for more days on my request. Thank you!
The staff were brilliant! Osman spoke perfect English and helped me with everything I needed. The dinner and breakfast were good, very similar to everywhere else in the country I've been so far. A lovely hotel though! Well worth it if you're planning to stay in Afyon!
The best open buffet food in a hotel I have experienced. The thermal was very clean, smell of towels to facilities, everything was extraordinary. The staff were very good and caring for their guests wellbeing. Incredible experience in mainland Türkiye.
Very nice family hotel, our children loved the pools and we loved the Bali massages! There was a huge selection of food for breakfast and dinner and we enjoyed having so many choices.
