Good staff and professional, the location is in the city center (it might be scary when you walk outside during the night since it's empty and dark).
The hotel has 2 parking spots outside and underground so you won't find any problem to park.
It's close also the airport, so to stay for a couple of days there it's okay I guess.

Carthage the highlight.
Carthage the highlight. La Marsa and other suburbs were worth a visit. Bizerte a big disappointment.
Tunis is not a very attractive city. Apart from the main street there is dirt and squalor everywhere. The trams are often packed with no ventilation, are dirty and in many cases there are no tram stop names indicated. There is only one small park anywhere near the city centre.
The taxi from the airport is all hassle as the drivers try to rip off passengers. The light rail lines to Carthage and to La Marsa weren't operational.
There are very few decent restaurants in the city centre. Compared to other African countries I have visited (Morocco and Egypt) the locals aren't particularly friendly (with notable exceptions).
As someone who has visited more than 45 countries I wouldn't recommend Tunisia under any circumstances.

You must head to the Medina.
You must head to the Medina. It is a maze of narrow streets and packed with shoppers. The stroll in there alone is an experience.
Expect to be pestered a little but just walk on if you don't want to be invited into the little shops to buy something. It's a fun experience.
Try a Brik. It's a fried doughnut which is just delicious and cheap.
The people are generally incredibly friendly and curious but be aware of the odd gentlemen who claims to work night security at your hotel and starts to accompany you around the medina. This happened to me 3 times by 3 different men. They have the same story.

Tunis is a great place to experience Arab culture tempered by French finesse. It is easy to get around the city on foot, tram or taxi. Lots to see and do. It is also not far from other amenities and historic sites.

The medina is an interesting way of spending a couple of hours with a nice cafe above where you can look over Tunis. Taxis are the best way to travel around and there are plenty. Lots of places to eat. I think as a tourist in Tunis you just need to beware of
being ripped off by being over charged at almost every point. Other than that it’s a very interesting place to visit and actually very cheap!!
Locarno is fabulous for the Medina & exploring Tunis Our host Khalid was beyond wonderful He advised us where to visit what to see where to eat and was so helpful Youdsef the taxi driver from airport and then later further on our trip was so kind helpful & caring a total delight! They made our trip exceptional! The hotel is amazing just fabulous in style, history and comfort best sleep ever on a historic palace Breakfast is generous l, loved the eggs Everyone is do fried just enjoy And thank you
I recently stayed at a wonderful hotel in the heart of Tunis and had an amazing experience. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Its central location allowed me to easily explore the nearby old city.
The breakfast was the highlight of my stay, offering a wide variety of delicious options. I highly recommend this hotel for its value, cleanliness, and delightful dining experience.
The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing. Right at the heart of Tunis and yet on the quiet street. I could park the motorcycle right in the hotel garage for 10DM/night. Breakfast buffet has many options and good variety.
The staff is incredibly helpful and speaks English. If it would not be them I'd not be able to get into Tunisia (long story).
Any issue with the room is promptly dealt with.

The location of the hotel is unbeatable. Literally a street away from the main avenue in Tunis. The rooms are spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the shower really powerful.
I got the room I asked for which was nice and overall, the staff I encountered were very polite, especially the cleaners and the security officers at the main entrance.
The hotel is clean and comfortable with good location. Rooms are newly renovated with good beds and nice furnitures. The area is really nice and you find a lot of shops and restaurants close to hotel. It's easy to go La Marsa or Tunis downtown. Airport is really close to hotel as well. Breakfast was really good and you could pick it from the menu.
The room was comfortable and functional. Staff members are very well trained: courteous and attentive to details (thank you team cleaning!). Unlike hotels in area Lac1, It's close to where Tunisians actually live. You'll see the smoked filled café, men watching soccer, while also having access to some really nice restaurants. Highly recommended
Gorgeous ,authentic old mansion converted to stunning hotel. Top of the line everything!! Beds,furniture,windows,bath-all the type one finds in a true 5-star hotel.Roof top restaurant serves exquisite food in a scenic setting.Breakfast had many healthy options, including soy lattes. Reception staff were very helpful and consistently cheerful.
Friendly staff. Large clean room with tea, coffee, kettle and fridge. A comfortable bed. Good breakfast with plenty of choices. The meals from the restaurant were good. There is a nice busy bar a few minutes walk away. The hotel is good for business travellers, it's close to many bank offices. Tunis centre is about 25 minutes walk.
Great quality hotel for a reasonable price in hearth of Tunis. Close to Old Medina, train and bus station. Personel was friendly. Room was really comfortable with working facilities, especially comparing for similar price-range hotels in Tunisia. Breakfast was big and enough. They also provide free city map for everybody.
If you are in tunis you must stay at this hotel. The hotel is amazing very traditional and the location is perfect. But what make it special is the staff and the owner. They will welcome you with a big smile homemade lemonade and fruits and the will to help you discover their country.
100% Recommended.
I was particularly impressed by how smoothly the check in was organized and the friendly demeanor of the front desk staff. Big thank you to Mr. Reda and to the Director of the hotel for providing such a delightful stay.
Hotel well located (around 10 min by car from the airport),
The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at while I’m in Tunisia, Adam Hotel suites and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms and high quality service. Also, big thanks to Marwan always making sure I’m getting the best stay.
Hotel Dar Ali is located adjacent to the main train station in Tunis and is walkable to points of interest in the city as well as transportation, food, and shopping. Communication prior to the stay was prompt, and the staff was welcoming upon arrival.
I was in Tunis to visit family who were staying in Laq. Novotel was very central and in a nice and clean district. Tunis Mall was close by and it was a good base for sightseeing trips. The hotel WiFi is good. The food and restaurant are good.
Friendly staff and an excellent location in the heart of Tunis Centre Ville (just a few blocks from Gare du Tunis and a 15-minute walk from the heart of the medina). Check-in is trilingual in French, Arabic, English.
Very good value for money. The location is perfect and the breakfast is a large buffet that has something for everybody. Perfect hotel & location to discover Tunis.
