The place is run by a German-Thai couple. The rooms are very large and the materrasses could be softer. The only design flaw is the shower.
The owners are very, very nice. Expect to be offered both German and Thai dishes. Both are great. There is even homemade bread and sausages.
Great place to stop in for a night or two.

Everything! This hostel is perfect for a stay when taking the ferry or coming back. The hostel is brand new. It’s super safe and super clean. Very strong AC. Free coffee, snacks and a water. 7/11 close by. Food options right there. ATM across the street. Owner guided me to ferry times and even dropped me off at the port the next day. Owner speaks English well and very helpful to figure out which Don Sak port and boat company was best. This place felt like a home. Do yourself a favor and stay here to make your travels to the islands easier.

I missed my ferry to Koh Phangan. I stayed here one night. They helped me to get a taxi from the airport to them because I arrived late and couldn’t get a bus + ferry ticket any more which was a bummer. But I was glad I found this place, it gave me a feeling of having arrived in Thailand. The girl at the reception was really helpful. She serve dinner. In the morning I went to close by Seatran building and bought a breakfast there
Incredible hospitality, kindness and attention to detail. This guesthouse is a perfect place to see Don Sak or if you are on your way to the islands. The owner is down to earth, kind and is truly invested in making sure you have a wonderful stay. He can also organize transfers to the ferry or from Surathani
The bed was extremely comfy and the location beside the port / pier was ideal as we had a boat trip the next day. The young man running the reception was lovely and gave us a lift to the boat the next day and made sure we got on the boat even though it had been overbooked.
A short walk from the ferry pier and if you keep going down the path, you'll be rewarded with a lovely walk through mangroves to a secluded beach.
The room was super clean. They actually use washable covers on the accent pillows. Why can't every place do this?
Calm location closed to the pier, nice private garden. The pick-up service and the support of the owner’s son exceeded any expectation. He made us feel visiting family from the very first moment on. You can also discover the interesting surroundings with him.
New hotel on the beach 15 minutes from the Pear where the ferry’s go to the islands. Nice clean rooms, very nice pool with bar. Enough restaurants nearby. Beach isn’t great here. Perfect for a layover on or from your way to the islands.
The owner of this hotel was the nicest ever!! she helped us with everything: from bringing us to the port to sending our postcard to the Netherlands. would 10000% recommend this place 😍

As said before a perfect solution if you need to stay overnight close to the Donsuk pier. Staff was super nice, delicious food in the restaurant, very clean and comfortable room.
