I would highly recommend this place! We had such a lovely stay here. Located a 10 min walk / 2 min taxi from public places. The house was so clean and bed was so comfortable. It is situated in a quiet area. Mr Ping was the best host we’ve ever had. He went out of his way in so many ways for us. We couldn’t thank him enough for being so accommodating. He is available 24/7. We also rented bikes from a local place. This place is 5 min drive from the half moon party which is perfect. We also made use of the laundry service here! Thank you Mr Ping for a lovely stay and thank you for being you!

Stayed in a double room and for the price we were so happy with what we got. Seriously comfy bed, great sized room and bathroom (waterfall shower is always a luxurious surprise) and good amenities. Super clean and the staff were on hand to help (but only during shop hours so be mindful of this if you need to check in early or late!). Right next door to 7-11. The lady at reception helped us organise a taxi to the pier at a great price and overall we had a great stay.

we loved staying here! the staff were so nice and helpful to us. the bungalow was so cute and the air conditioning was great! bed was super comfy and the room itself was enough for two comfortably. the bathroom was nice and was clean.
the little balcony with the hammock was my favourite place to relax!

We had a great stay in Billabong. The owner, Sascha and his team were excellent. Super helpful and attentive. Our aircon stopped working one morning and we were moved to another room and also given a discount on the extra night we added to our stay. Nice pool and restaurant. The room was spacious and clean. There's also a scooter rental right across the road, which was helpful.

It had a room available. If Rung was on reception then I could communicate with staff. Rung was friendly & eager to be of service. There was instant cofffee & free packets of snacks provided in the room. It’s almost next to Tom’s kitchen which is a very good eatery.

I really enjoyed Wat Khao Tham and Apichada view point where I can visit by walk.
There are lots of tasty local food with reasonable price. Especially I liked MAMA local restaurant.
Also, I liked carrot cake from Croissant & Ko. They have lots of cakes and pastry it was difficult to chose!!!

I had to go to renew my visa so needed to be close to the pier. Baan TAi is good if you want to be close to Thongsala & cheap food & things happening & Secret Garden is a lovely quiet place. However Baan Tai is very noisy and busy if you want real tranquillity go elsewhere.

Baan Tai is convenient for those who want to party and get to Haad Rin, Jungle parties and the floating pier parties easily. However, if you are looking for a bit more quiet, but still within easy reach of some dancing, I would recommend the west side of the island. Srithanu and Zen beach, especially if you are travelling on your own. Much friendlier. :)

Quite a small area but with great beaches and loads of choice for restaurants and bars. A good location for the moon parties and pre parties, and lots of places nearby to buy tickets. Many places to see further around the island but you would need to hire a moped or book a tour.

Ban Tai is the place to be in Koh Phangan. Haad Rin might be too crazy for some given the Full Moon Party Atmosphere. Anything North of Thong Sala might be too secluded to some. Ban Tai is the perfect center
The hotel is set on a beautiful quiet beach with stunning views towards the island of Koh Samui. The staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. I stayed in room D2 which was quite outstanding! The food at the restaurant is very good and they have a wonderful selection of seafood and meat plus a huge variety of Thai and European food. I have travelled extensively in Thailand over the last 30 years, especially in the southern islands and would now say it my number one!
We absolutely loved our stay at Summer Resort and will definitely be back next time in Koh Phangan. On arrival we were greeted with a bottle of wine which was a lovely touch. The service was incredible, decor and ammenities were outstanding, food and view spectacular and in the perfect location on the beachfront. They put on a great show on NYE, giving welcome drinks to all. We loved it so much we extended our stay by two nights!
The room was a great value for the price. The service was really good, the reception was always available and the staff were very nice and welcoming. Everyday the staff cleaned the whole hotel area and took care of the gardening. The compound was very well maintained.
There's an option to book a massage in the hotel, and to rent a vehicle. Our hotel was right on the beach, and had a restaurant near by and water sports.
We had the beach front villa, which was amazing. We woke up to the sea / sand right in front of us, exactly how the picture shows. The beach is private, and the hotel provides beds which was great. The breakfast and food offered is good and of reasonable prices. In terms of location, it is quite secluded, which is ideal if you want that type of stay. It is about a 10 minute walk to a supermarket and shops/restaurants.
Great location to visit the island (you'll need a scooter or car to move around) with many cafes and restaurants nearby.
Our room was in the main building and we enjoyed our partial sea view / pool view.
While the beach at the hotel is not the best for swimming, it still looks very nice and it's nice to get a drink at the hotel bar while watching the sunset.
Last but not least, very nice and accommodating staff
Love the simplicity of the people and the place in addition to the comfort and cleanliness. The resort has a special touch that was tailored to our needs and on hands with various helps. Excellent location to anywhere to/from city centre, groceries, beaches, restaurants, taxis, laundry service etc. The place is fair tranquil surrounded by nature and wild chirping birds. We had a remarkable experience here!
Phangan Arena is the place to be on Koh Phangan! There is stuff going on every night. They'll tell you where the parties are every night and join you with other people so it's a great starting point for any traveler. Great value for money too. If you don't enjoy sharing a dorm room with others the single rooms are a decent option.
This was our favourite place in Thailand. We extended our stay a couple of times we loved it so much. Rooms are beautiful, beach is gorgeous, pool next door is fantastic. Good food and drinks available. We hired a scooter from the hotel so we could explore the island, very easy. The staff were very lovely and helpful.

Position on the beach and close to shops is fantastic. The beach is a lovely swimming beach. Hotel food was better than going out. Lovely ambiance. Swimming pool and entertainment areas are spotlessly clean.
Small family run resort. Beautiful beachfront and nice pool. Staff work hard to keep everything clean. Restaurant and bar on site. Within walking distance to restaurants, 7-11 and night market.
