We went hiking in the area during spring time, so we just spent 1 night here. I would choose it again. We could reach main hiking routes in 5 minutes. Staff was nice. Hotel has its own parking lot, so we did not need to pay for parking in the main town parking lot. There is a small supermarket right next to the hotel, so it is easy to buy anything you would need during holidays.

Perfect location, nice hotel and good service. Staff is friendly and helpful, and management is outstanding (we had an issue, which was handled by the management as should be in all hotels).
The modern Panorama Resort hotel is located directly at Štrbské Pleso. A wellness area with Finnish, steam, and infrared saunas can be found on the ground floor just behind the reception.

Unique building in a great location below the Tatras mountains. If you're a fan of modern architecture, you should visit! The room was excellent with views - I went at a quiet time so was lucky to receive an upgrade. Comfortable bed and the bathroom well equipped. The breakfast was good too. Also, if you enjoy wintersports / hiking, then Štrbské Pleso is q good destination and a bit different too. Highly recommend.

I was up in the mountains so didn't see much of the towns. I got the little train up from Stary Smokoviec and went for shopping in Strbske Pleso. Neither town appeals to me but Popradske Pleso is gorgeous. One of my favourite places in the Tatras.

A beautiful village at the foot of the Tatras by a beautiful lake. In the vicinity of the ski slope, many trails for walking and cycling. There are several hotels, restaurants and shops by the lake. An ideal place for a few-day trip, both in winter and summer.

Great trails, both half-day or full day, from moderate to slightly challenging (especially for anyone with mobility issues). Skok waterfall trail is terrific. Jamske Pleso trail is flatter and less rough, but we did see a common viper on the trail and fresh bear poo!
The trail around Strbske Pleso lake itself is very enjoyable and scenic.
Furkotka restaurant (opposite Hotel Toliar) and Koliba Patria restaurant overlooking the lake we're terrific value and lovely food. Lary Fary cafe was a nice midday stop-off too, lovely hot chocolate and tea.

Strbske pleso itself is too touristy and developed.
Strbske pleso itself is too touristy and developed. The real value of this location is all the hiking that's possible in the area. The nature here is stunning. An easy one hour hike will take you to another lake called Popradske pleso and a further 90 minute hike (a bit more difficult) from there will take you to the largest lake Velke Hincovo pleso. That area is beautiful. It looks like something from The Lord of the Rings. There is also a great restaurant in Strbske pleso called Furkotka with great food and service.

We liked everything, everything! The most beautiful atmosphere in the hotel, like a fairytale. It is the best hotel we have ever been! We should stay for 3 nights, but we stayed one night longer. They think of every detail. especially for children :) We had everything possible for our child in the room (little sleepers, cosmetics..) Special thanks to the girls from kids club, they were wonderful. Also greetings for waitress Anita, very nice and willing to help :) Thank you very much and see you soon!
Having read mixed reviews online, we weren't sure what to expect but our stay was 5*. The remote location, friendly and professional customer service and tasty food / drinks, all reasonably priced given the location. Would happily return and one day we will.
*The location is remote so it's useful to know that customers who are not able / wishing to walk can request a pick up / drop off from Štrbské Pleso or Popradské Pleso tram stop (at an extra cost and with advanced notice).

Good location right next to a supermarket (located in the neighboring hotel) and a great restaurant (called Furkotka). Also very close to the Strbske pleso lake (2-3 min. walking). Comfy & clean place with eco natural design & excellent location for exploring High Tatras. Enjoying morning coffee with magnificent mountain panorama including view of Krivan during sunrise was simply divine. Definitely place to come back.
A very smooth, simple check in process. Room was perfect for our needs, clean and came with a fantastic view over the Tatras. Free parking available and a 5 minute walk into Strbske Pleso.
Location is perfect. A six minute walk from the train station, hiking routes in walking distance to accommodation. The staff were friendly. Accommodation was clean and comfortable.
Exceptionally clean. Beautiful panorama over mountains nearby; it's a full private apartment but still sharing all the facilities and comfort of the hotel panorama.
