I arrived by walking from Vrútky and a rainshower made me hurry up some. So I ended up arriving earlier than I indicated, and the owner was still not home. His dad kindly helped us out.

Perfect location near forest, great for walks and hiking. Room was really spacious. Very calm. Staff very helpful and nice. Food was over my expectations, we liked every meal very much, worth to have dinners here. Breakfast had pretty much variations for the size of the hotel. Kids court is a big plus. Parking no problem.

Sucany is a village on border of very nice region of northern Slovakia called Orava. I have found Sucany as good compromise when visiting Orava. It is not far away from any corner of Orava and prices are much less then in Orava's tourist centers. At this time of Covid pandemic i found also as valuable to stay in pretty less crowded property.
