Stayed one night. Beautiful, clean hotel. Stylized from the times of ladies and knights. Very colorful interiors. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We didn't take breakfast, I don't know what it was like. Overall, we really liked this hotel.

Historic sites in town but not well presented - most buildings in the castle complex could only be viewed from outside.
Unable to find a good place to eat - no-one (including tourist information staff) able to think of a restaurant offering "Slovak' cuisine!

Nitra is a pleasant town, situated an hour bus ride away from the Slovak capital Bratislava. Nitra is important for Slovaks because of its history, Christian (sacral) architecture and of course, agricultural studies and trade fairs.
I was surprised to also see a Synagogue, which is in a very good condition. It has a unique Moorish and Art Nouveau style.
I recommend also a walk up the small hill to see the Calvary and enjoy the view at the whole Nitra.
There is a lovely vegan and vegetarian place (open only 11.00-14.00) in the Nitra centre on the Farska street, I ate their main course as well as falafels, delicious! Last but not least, it's good to go for a walk next to the nitra river, it's pleasant

A quiet, comfortable city for those who like a relaxing holiday. It is definitely worth a visit to the main historical attraction of the city - Nitryansky Grad. Very nice place with a long history. You can climb the tower, take a walk in the park and sit in a cafe with a wonderful view of the city.

It was a nice change to be in a city that had not been overrun by tourism. The pedestrian area had many restaurants/cafes and of the two we used the food was high quality and eating alfresco at 2200 hours was very pleasant. Pope John Paul II chose to visit Nitra - a good decision - a wonderful statue of him in the grounds of the castle and a brilliant view of the city from the cathedral bell tower. With the exception of the swimming pool complex in the park, probably not that interesting for children. There is a direct bus from Bratislava airport to Nitra which you should pre-book, especially on the return journey.

I visited Nitra on a business trip, but had the opportunity to spend some time exploring the town,
It is a lovely town with a good mixture of old and modern architecture, with the occasional 1950's Soviet inspired block dotted around. The Castle and Cathedral on top of the hill, are well worth a visit. as you get fabulous views over the surrounding countryside and the baroque interior to the cathedral is awe inspiring.
There are numerous places to eat in the town, all offering good value fro money
There are many things to like. The staff are very friendly! The communication with them and any help on the spot was always well handled and polite. The rooms are very comfy. The breakfast is smaller in options but nice quality and just enough to start your day! I this time tried their sauna and jacuzzi and that was fantastic as well. It is my second visit to this hotel so I highly recommend it!
This place is charming and the owner is very friendly and accommodating! He was so kind about the fact that I can barely speak Slovak, and spoke to me in English and helped me order a taxi. My room was clean, spacious, and Air conditioned! I would love to stay here every time I am in Nitra... The location and service is excellent, such a beautiful building and area🙌
Comfortable and quiet hotel right in the Nitra city center. The staff was very nice and helpful, rooms quiet and spacious, very big and comfortable beds, air conditioning. Even though there were concerts right in front of the hotel, once you closed the window, you couldn't hear anything. Plenty of parking spaces for everybody right behind the hotel.

Excellent and comfortable rooms, great welcome by the hosts and perfect location. Good Italian restaurant next door, and Nitra's city center at the end of the street. Great breakfast as well. Strong recommendation!
The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and the location was great. The breakfast was good value for money and the staff were always willing to help. Would recommend staying here if you are visiting Nitra.
The room was very spacious and luxurious. Breakfast was awesome, we were served by Michal and he was totally professional and nice. Location of the hotel is amazing, everything is in a walking distance.
The rooms are nicely decorated, it looks like an old style aristocratic house. Everything is well maintained. I really liked the breakfast and most of all the deer far on the back of the hotel.
The apartment was clean and the kitchen had basic needs, including a few spices including salt, which was appreciated. It was reasonable close to the city center. Host spoke English well.
++ hotel is right in the city center
+++ the staff was extremely nice
++ the room was oriented to inner courtyard, so it was pretty quiet even during rush hours
