The room was big and clean. The bathroom was tiny but also clean. The tight spiral staircase (the room was on the first floor) was not a problem for me, but I can imagine it may be difficult for some guests. You leave the key in the box when leaving the place, so you are not constrained by someone being available - that is nice.

Breakfast was awesome. The hotel includes many leisure activities like a pool, sauna, billiard, and bowling. There were many options on the dinner menu. It is great that you can buy for 5Euros full-day ski pass for the whole valley.

The room had a magic view of the mountains, was top-notch clean, with lovely comfy duvets and big soft pillows.
Friendly staff made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend this great value for money hotel if you just want to have a great time hiking in a lovely village with great restaurants.

Great location, friendly and flexible staff, very good dinner (have to order in advance!)/breakfast included, big parking lot.
Old style mountain hotel might not suit everyone, but if you are a regular hiker, you would be satisfied!
Note we stayed in a two floor room for 4/5 people - no problem, but you might need different kind of accomodation, just ask in advance, hotel seems big enough.
