The hosts met up on arrival and welcomed us, and gave us the keys. We really enjoyed the apartment, with the entrance facing a beautiful garden and fields! Pet friendly and spacious, the house had a good indoor climate and we found everything we needed in the kitchen! It is close to a bakery, a food market, and the river Drava with it's walking paths that we enjoyed. Just 10 minutes, over bridge to the beuatiful city of Ptuj.

Ptuj is a lovely historic town.
Ptuj is a lovely historic town. There are thermal pools which are a little dated but still very pleasant. The best experience was the visit to the castle. After you buy your ticket you can visit an exhbition about local carnival tradition (Kurenti) and an exhibition showing the production of cotton, silk, linen and wool. Then you can go to the castle which has three floors. You can explore various exhibitions on your own, there are paintings, weapons, furniture, and a lot more. We especially liked the mix of modern "paintings" and the old ones.

Very nice old town with a pleasant town centre. Easily walkable and nice pedestrianised areas. Quite a few sights to see, easily visitable in one or two days. Good choice of restaurants with lovely local food.
We didn't do any cycling but it looks like a great place and area for cycling. The river and local area are interesting for birdwatching. Apparently in the winter the river is a good place for seeing large numbers of wildfowl.

Ptuj (especially city center) is nice, cozy (the oldest in Slovenia) town with rich history to tell, some really interesting bars and all that is reachable on foot.
If you like beer, go to Bodi bar, if you like more "indie" scene go to Muzikakafe bar.

Small city, very nice, can see in a day or two. Outdoor cinema at local theater was great. Castle is cool. Terme Ptuj (waterpark) only fair. There is a free bus that can get you from the bus station (across street from train station) to center of city, and to Terme. We walked, but it was a bit warm and we had luggage, so knowing about bus in advance would have been good. Hotel staff had no clue.

we transited only, i passed through ptuj before, remember some bridge and river, some nice old architectiure downtown but nothing extraordinary to consider as tourist destination for more than a 1 night sleepover
Spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The main bathroom was especially attractive, with a huge tub. Parking was ample, and the host was extremely amicable, even bringing us "krofi" (donuts) one night. The location is an easy (<10 minute walk) to Ptuj, across a pedestrian bridge, which avoids the hassles of driving and parking in the old town. It's also conveniently near to a grocery store and nice restaurant (Pomaranča). The view out the bedroom towards the Ptuj 'Grad' (castle) was gorgeous!
The location was excellent right in the center of town. Andrej our host was wonderful. He greeted us upon our arrival and was so accommodating and helpful. The room was large, clean and so comfortable with ample parking on site. This bnb is located in an old monastery that has been renovated so we enjoyed the beautiful woodwork and attention to simple details. The breakfast offered a nice variety of foods. Ptuj is a lovely little town and worth a visit- definitely stay at Sobe Postija!
Sobe Prostija was a wonderful place to start our Slovenian adventure. Andrej met us in the courtyard to show us around, got up each morning to make the freshest bread for breakfast, was super responsive to our WhatsApp messages, and helped us get connected to local services (bike rentals, etc). The inn was very clean and comfortable, and we would absolutely stay again.
If you want to experience real Slovenian hospitality and a meticulously crafted b&b, that offers delicious coffee, all local breakfast, cocktails, and sandwiches, in THE perfect location in Ptuj, this is the place to be. We are SO glad we took the time to visit this quaint town, intimate castle, and stay in this beautiful hotel and meet the beyond gracious owners.
We traveled here the second time and will go back again. This is an amazing place for families. We love the indoor and outdoor pool area of the hotel and the beach just opposite the hotel is also very good. Food is also good. The staff is friendly and very helpful, especially Sabina and Maja at the reception.
I loved how it was so close to the main part of town while also being just far enough away that I got to take that lovely walk across the bridge every morning and evening. Breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel. Restaurant had great food and that was super convenient. Overall awesome stay!
The landlord is fantastic, breakfast was great, rooms were nice and cozy, and the place just feels like you are home. And the location is excellent, as is the entire city of Ptuj!
Don't forget to pick up a 20% off to visit the nearby pool, hopefully the deal is still in place when you arrive!
The whole place has such a special atmosphere that makes you want to sit in the inner yard and just listen to the chirping birds. There's a great collection of house plants! The hosts were outgoing and welcoming and provided us with tips on what to do in Ptuj. The breakfast was amazing!

The hotel was quiet in a good location to Maribor and Ptuj, Slovenia and Graz, Austria. Included breakfast was awesome. Great value for stay - one room is good enough for 2 couples.
Overall the place is very nice, great gardens at the top of a hill 10 minutes by feet away from the beautiful city of Ptuj. The breakfast was great, and the hosts rather nice!
