Located in a quiet rural area a few miles outside Novo Mesto this is a gem. Our room was large and very comfortable and breakfast had a good variety. Dinner was also available. The food was sourced locally and was delicious. Special mention has to go to the owners and their staff for exceptional service, helpfulness and friendliness.

This is a story of naivety which ended with overcharging and frustration.
We were coming back from a trip to Italy. After driving 700 km we needed a place to stay and a nice dinner – as Slovenia is half way to Bulgaria. We chose this place on booking.com
On the day of our reservation (10.05.24) they required that we call them at least an hour in advance to reconfirm time of arrival. I called from the Italian-Slovenian border and no one answered! After 15 minutes, I called a second time, as they did not have the courtesy to call me back.
We tried to reach the house using the address and send texts and we ended driving up on an extremely narrow, steep and winding roads, with sharp turns where we got lost between some small vineyards and other houses. The roads were so narrow that two cars cannot pass by each other Things were even worse because we were with a very long car.
It took us about 25 minutes to somehow escape the maze of narrow alleys and to get back from scratch. I called our host again. This time he tried to lead us over the phone, and following his guidance after few minutes we reached a fork in this tiny, winding road where he himslef was not sure how to lead us further. So he asked us to stop and wait for his father to come and take us, who was supposed to come in 5 minutes. After waiting for 10 minutes we were frustrated enough and our patience ran out. On top of that it was almost 8:00 pm and from our previous stay 10 days ago in the same vicinity we were aware that all restaurants in the area are closing by that time. So we were facing not only the frustration of having nowhere to stay but also a lack of dinner after 700 km drive.
We decided to continue our trip, to stop and sleep in some motel on the road. Leaving the area, we were stopped at a temporary traffic light because of some road works, where a car stopped by us. It turned out that this was the father, our host!

Hotel Center Novo Mesto is a great hotel with super friendly staff, fabulous breakfast, great decor and just a wonderful place to stay overall. We stayed as a family at the hotel and arrived later than we planned. The staff was happy to prepare a late meal for us which was really appreciated. Parking was also convenient being just behind the hotel.
Thank you to all the staff for the excellent experience! We highly recommend this hotel which is perfectly situated in the center of town. This was our second visit to your hotel and we will certainly be back again!
The hotel is centrally located and has a car park that can be booked in advanced. I read that the bed mattresses are too hard and the truth is in my huble opinion that they are comfortably hard. I hate it when the mattres is so soft that you fall into the bed. At the Center Hotel the beds were comfy. Breakfast was OK, both hot and cold food, sweet and salty. The range of products was not tremendous but it was OK. Another advantage of the hotel was the common place, a kind of a kitchen with a table and a space for a coffee or tea.
A farm stay at an actual farm in an extremely beautiful location. Quite close to Novo Mesto, a decent-sized town, but you would never know it by the quiet and calm of the Seruga farmstay. We did half-board (breakfast and dinner, breakfast is included in the room rate) and the food was excellent. Dinners were completely home-cooked by Eva, the proprietress and were yummy. We are not talking gourmet, here--soups, lots of vegetable dishes and a protein main. All very tasty. And a good dessert each night.
Very nice place, local atmosphere. Excellent balkan restaurant downstairs (really excellent, we travel all over the balkans for 15 years). Even two kitchens with their own cook (one for pasta and pizzas, the other for grilled and other meat dishes). Room was very good, beds were the best you can have in a hotel. Bathroom large enough for anyone, everything spotlessly clean.
A cozy, pleasant place to relax good also for a long night's lodging. Here you can eat a tasty and delicious national meat dish. Special thank to the owner of the hotel Miroslav and his wonderful daughters Ivanka and Irina for warm welcoming us with a such care and reduced price with free meal. I recommend this wonderful place to everyone.

Large rooms equipped with kitchen corner. It is more like multiple mini-apartment within a building rather than a typical hotel. The room was clean. Large windows. Located in an "industrial estate" outside Novo Mesto where more companies are located. Ideal when you arrive by car or motorbike. Check-in was uncomplicated.
What a great place with super nice hosts in stunning enviroment. The room was big, separate bathroom and a balcony. The property and the surroundings are well maintained. Personel were super kind. Food delicious, breakfast and dinner. Impaccable hotel with nice personal touches. Really great value for money.
For us, the location not in a city center was perfect. Parking in front of the hotel, very very friendly and helpful stuff, nice rooms, nice meals. we absolutely recommend this place.
