My reservation was extremely "last minute/emergency" , but he response very quickly . Close to the market, restaurant, also good starting point to hike, bike, explore. A lovely place to stay before a tour at Krizna Jama. The owner Igor was super helpful - he picked me up from the bus stop, called the cave to ask them to pick me up at the guesthouse and then drove up to the bus stop after I’d left to return something I’d left at the hotel. The room with a balcony has a gorgeous view! Everything was very comfy and clean.

Cerknica is a very nice clean safe village with excellent amenities. It's located in a wide flat sunny valley landscape, surrounded by mountains. It's also a great central location for exploring the local area with day trips to many amazing places including Predjama Castle, Postojna Caves, Sneznik Castle, Rakov Skocjan and Ljubljana.
Here We found genuine hospitality, fresh food from the farm, and nice trekkings around the area.
We loved the exquisite food, the friendliness of the staff, the location.
Urban and his mother Iudita will do their best to please you.
He is very kind and serviceable, and Iudita is a great cook.
She will make you discover slovenian dishes with the products from their farm.
It’s the 2nd time We go there and will for sure come back. Don’t forget to buy genuine products from the farm at the Bio shop!

Incredible accomodation with beautiful atmosphere of Slovenian countryside. Very kind stuff. Clean and comfy rooms. Breakfast was outstanding with local food and fresh homemady pastry. It really exceeded our expectations. On top of that you can buy local products (honey, schnaps, salami, cheese and more). Credit cards are not accepted but payment by Paypal or bank transfer is not a problem. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely want to come back later.
The food, the beautiful and quiet mountain setting, and our accommodating host Urban all made this stay unforgettable. Come with an appetite and an open heart. Urban’s mom prepared delicious traditional meals for us and he answered all of our many questions about Slovenia. We arrived earlier than our check-in time so we hiked down to the river and enjoyed our time in the peaceful surrounding area while our rooms were prepared.
After a holiday in Croatia we decided to stop in Slovenia on some short tourist activities. We found there very interesting places - fallen caves in Rakov Skocjan and cycling round the Cerknica lake. We choce that place based on geocaching "positive" athmosfere too. The hostess was very nice and she surprised us with a little welcome gift. She informed us about dining options and attractions in the area Thanks again.

Samo is a really kind host, he cares a lot about the guests. He gave us many informations about what to visit in Slovenia and he helped us find good and cheap wine😍 The apartment is very clean and cozy, it has all the comforts and everything is curated. The price is really good! Also, the position is perfect to visit Slovenia and discover less turistic places.❤

The views are incredible from here! And the owner and his wife really embodied true Slovenian hospitality, it was one of the best hotel experiences for friendly staff I have ever had. The restaurant serves delicious local cuisine and a nice little breakfast in the morning.
Very homely and spacious apartment perfect for large families. Wifi is strong and the kitchen comes fully equipped. The apartment also has a nice balcony with a view of the Slovenian hills. One of the best apartment we stayed in during our trip.
Everything! It is not a 5-star hotel. It is a rural, quiet place (except the bell from the nearby church is ringing). Don't look further if you are looking for the perfect location for a family holiday. Jezerka is the perfect place :)
Small room with all what you need. Comfy bed. The hotel is in a beautiful forest, but in 15 minutes by car you have shoos and restaurants. Call before arriving, when I arrived nobody was there (but had to wait only 10 minutes).
