The cottage was cosy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. We appreciated the option to borrow towels and sheets, although there is a fee, but other accommodations of this type do not even provide this option. The cottages are placed far enough apart each other so the guests are not disturbed. Our cottage was connected to the playground by a footpath which made our children happy. There are beautiful forests full of blueberries and cranberries in the nearby area, there are lovely walks.

The location is perfect for visiting Astrid Lindgrens Värld and Näs. It's also nice to go on trips in the area.
Oxgården itself with the shared garden is nice. My kids made great friends and I met great people. It's nice to bring people together.
We were there in the middle of August and besides many nice Swedes there were several German families and one from Austria. Many only stay for a day or two, though.
The cabin was big enough for us and it had everything from fridge to shower.
On request at the reception they also washed and dried our clothes.
I booked last minute which gave us a nice discount.
It's very close to Astrid Lindgrens Värld and Näs, i.e. in walking distance, and you can reach the center of Vimmerby easily.
The staff was very nice. It was no problem to extend the stay by another day. This is probably different in the high season. Even in the low season on Friday and Saturday almost all cottages were occupied.
We used the grill place a couple of times, which is nice in this complex.
The cottages are not new anymore, but still good.
The concept of a non-profit association, where the locals volunteer to run the place and our kids could stay in an old school was great! As everybody takes care, it is also super clean and comfortable. You are also just a bicycle ride away from Bullerbü and close enough to Vimmerby.
A nice place to stay in lovely surroundings. I loved the sauna by the lake and the breakfast was very good to. The hotel has a lot of little thoughtful touches: yea and coffee making facilities in the corridors, umbrellas and wellington boots for the rain.
A very nice place for a family Trip...we got a round tour at the farm, pet the very new born baby goats and went for the small hikes through the forest and farm land. Very close to Vimmerby with Pippi, Ronja and Co.!;-)
