Wonderful friendly, helpful staff, happy to book taxis or help with local knowledge. Was staying for a wedding nearby and it was the perfect base. Couldn't believe how close the hotel was to the platform, literally saw it as soon as the train doors opened.

This small cabin was great for staying there while being mostly around during the night. The beds were comfy and our son was sleeping on the sofa bed. The cabin is equipped with a full kitchen and all bathroom necessities. It was mostly quiet - though we had some neighbors one night who were pretty noisy around 2 am. But that was not the fault of our hosts and the people left the next day. The cabin is a little far out of Skövde - so you need a car to get there and do the shopping if you want to use the kitchen. They provided us with wifi when we asked for it as my husband needed to work a bit during our stay. That was really appreciated. The heating was excellent as we had quite cold mornings beginning of October (zero degrees Celsius 2 or 3 nights). We always were warm inside and felt comfortable.
This is was the most surprising hotel booking we made on our trip through Sweden. The pictures on booking.com did not do this place justice. We booked it because it was one of the last places left on our unplanned random trip in August.
It is set on the hill overlooking the town. The hill is popular with hiking, fishing, spa wellness in the summer, and in winter is turns into a cross country ski resort.
I am really sad because of worker. She was not kind and wanted more money after I came to hotel and I booked room online. I new that I choose right price and right room but she was so bad and wanted me to pay extra money.
The staff is very helpful with any inquiries. Breakfast, fika and dinner offer a great and tasty selection. The central location makes it easy to get around town. Highly recommend the hotel for anyone visiting Skövde.
I had little expectations for this hotel coz of reviews on http://booking.com. However, my stay here was good and the comfort level was ok. Breakfast in the morning was also very good and beyond my expectations.
