I arrived very late (Midnight). I could enter with a code and could leave very early. This was important to me as I was supporting an Event and time was short. Thanks for helping me so easily in this matter.

This tiny place stands out of the mass! It is a real gem. You can feel the love and passion the owner puts in everwhere!
Bathrooms are shared but spotless and perfectly clean! The owner is very friendly and welcoming.

Super convenient parking and self-check-in, even late at night. Spacious, new and clean rooms and facilities. The complimentary chocolates and drinks are a really nice touch. We stayed for a night as a stopover on the drive between Hamburg and Sweden, but I am sure it would be a great fit for a longer stay as well!

The town is a very quiet and low activity place on it's own...
The town is a very quiet and low activity place on it's own that has all the things you need, but nothing too absorbent. Surrounding the town there is a lot of nature and lakes that are definitely worth visiting, having drive around and going off the beaten track has lead us to nice hiking trails, beautiful sights and a very quiet surrounding that allowed us to relax and be one with nature, while in town still having everything we needed on our travel through. It's considered the "most boring" town in Sweden, it is, but that has it's benefits.
Check in information is sent by SMS, but my phone was refusing to receive texts. Johan, the manager, kindly sent me the details I needed via the Booking.com app so I could check in. The room was comfortable and quiet, with free Wi-Fi and a TV. Breakfast was really tasty. There's a fika room where you can help yourself to coffee and sweets at no extra charge. Hotel Linnéa is amazing value for money, in my opinion.
Great hotel in the center of Ljungby. Location in really A+. Got lucky with the dates so parking was free in front of the hotel. There was supposed to be a alternative free parking lot just across the street. Breakfast was really good. enjoyed the waffle maker =).
