The staff were all friendly, engaging and helpful, especially larger-than-life Angelo in the restaurant. Half board as part of summer tariffs is great and convenient, as there are no other restaurants within two blocks of the hotel. The rooms are spacious with lovely high ceilings and big windows that open. The bathrooms are a good size. The outside seating at the restaurant is fabulous—it overlooks the lake and is a perfect place to unwind in good weather. I felt very safe as a solo traveller, as it’s a good family-friendly hotel.
