Solid embassy-hotel that has kept its air of grand air of history with refurbished interior, that has been there from the very firs beginning. The food and the service was top notch. If in Karlskoga there is no other place I would rather go to.

Very helpful and welcoming staff.
For example they could give good suggestions for restaurants, and I could stay after checkout and work in the lobby.
Very fresh and clean. Linnens were provided in a closed for extra cost of you didn't bring your own, no pre-booking required. For the price and convenience, this type of accommodation is outstanding and we've been here twice in the last month for track days at the nearby circuit. Will definitely book again when visiting Karlskoga.
Something of a boutique hotel next to a restaurant on the shore of a lake. The location and view is extraordinary. The rooms are in an old house and has an old charm combined with modern furniture. Breakfast is small but good. It has all the essentials and then some. Eggs etc. are made to order upon request. Staff was very nice!
The location is slightly outside of the city, and really close in the same time with a car.
The building in which I stayed was fully renovated and the room was on par with a Nordic hotel or Scandic for half the price. I had to go too early to enjoy the breakfast. I would gladly use the folkhogskola during another trip.

Friendly staff and very convenient location in the middle of the city centre. Parking in near by garage was £5 a night. Breakfast was ok and room was very spacious. Bar in the hotel was open to 12pm and plenty of places to eat around the hotel.
Really helpful staff, Sara in particular. Other reception staff on at later times were very approachable. The hotel is lovely and warm (wet, showy February days). The Jim was a nice bonus. Breakfast was fine, good selection and tasty.
The hotel was placed at a quite place. The hotel and room was clean, and the room had some chocolate, bubble water, and coffe and tea. The owner was very nice and helpful, asking when i was arriving and giving me the key.
The atmosphere and cleanliness of the hotel were good. I would have liked to be more social if other guests would have been around. I guess it was very "off-season" while I was there, so it is understandable.
