excellent hotel with a real nice homely feeling to it. the hosts were extremely friendly people and made me feel at home. The hotel facility consists of a really nice and cosy old cottage that has been turned in to a sort of residents lounge, where you can sit and relax , a really nice touch. The breakfast was included in the stay and very good. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stop over in this area. I will also return at the next opportunity. an excellent find.

Housed in a refurbished harbour warehouse, this hotel is just 200 metres from Gävle Central Station. It offers free Wi-Fi and wooden-furnished guest rooms with cable TV.
It's a nice place to visit for a day. You can always try and combine your visit there with a concert or something else. Transportation is okay but with weird timetables, you need to check them on advance. Great place to eat is the Blackstone Steakhouse, eating there made our day!

Well kept pool hall at Interpool.
Good eating at Sarah's and the Pub and Kok next door. Friendly service at Roma Pizzeria.
The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of the city - walking distance to shops and restaurants. The room was very large, comfortable, and very well equipped - we had everything we needed. The extra facilities such as the pool were an added bonus. There is also underground parking at the hotel which we were able to reserve in advance, this meant there was none of the added stress of trying to find parking every day in a busy city. Finally the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
It was a small apartment with kitchen facilities. So you could cook dinner and prepare your own breakfast. There was a cafe a few minutes walking distance from the apartment which was open early for breakfast as an alternative to making your own.
I liked the location close to Gavleån and the building itself. Very short walk to and from the railway station.

The location just next to historical Gävle is excellent. There is a supermarket, breakfast place and variety of restaurants nearby. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Good value of money
