The location was amazing, but it's actually open to anyone outside the hotel – you don't need to get a room to enjoy the place. The view from the room is lovely though – but that's it.

Fjallbacka is a very nice town on the Swedish west coast. It is a quite popular destination in summer, while in winter time is pretty empty. I've been there in November and hardly found something open. It is very nice wandering along the harbour and enjoying the silent and peaceful atmosphere. Don't miss the stairs that start from the middle of the town to go up to the hill close by. It's a 5 minutes walk and it will open beutiful views over the town and the bay.

I went during autumn, so the weather was not great to swim or do summer activities. However the surroundings are beautiful, and with a car in less than one hour you reach the Koster natural reserve which I totally recommend. There are some nice restaurants in the village as well!
This was an excellent place to stay, situated close to the centre of Fjallbacka and in a beautiful part of Sweden.
Having parking on-site was a real boon. The apartment was very well-equipped, clean and tidy, and tastefully furnished.
Two suggestions for improvement 1) a kettle for tea drinkers and 2) put a house number on/close to the door to make it easier to find! (We phoned the owner for advice, and she was very helpful).
The garden was beautiful and well maintained. The host was pleasant, helpful and indicated a lot of places to visit. The whole apartment is big and bright, and very comfy. We enjoyed being able to cook and rest in the nice living room, and have some drinks in the garden. The place is very close to the town center of Fjällbacka, which makes this place spot on the visit Fjällbacka and Smögen.
Everything! Our room was stunning. We took the big double room with private restrooms. The room was just so charming and the view from the two windows was breathtaking. The sea view from the balconies was perfect for the morning coffee. Also, the little town of Fjallbacka is very nice and I recommend visiting it!
The seaside view and balcony were amazing, and the property was lovely and homey. The location was great, within minutes of the main streets and hikes, along with the grocery store. Free parking both at the hotel and in the adjacent parking lot were a huge asset. The host was lovely, responsive, and helpful.
