The hotel is located in a beautiful, rural area; it's very peaceful; guests are able to wander around the extensive grounds.
We received a very friendly welcome from the helpful receptionist; this description applied to all the staff we met.
Our ground floor room was simply but adequately appointed, including a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities. The reception staff kindly provided "real" milk for use with our own English teabags, rather than the powdered creamer found in the room.
The shower floor was a little slippery when in use but was otherwise not a problem. There was decent water pressure and plentiful hot water.
There was plenty of free on-site parking.
The restaurant serves evening meals which were delicious albeit a little expensive. There was a large and wonderful selection of items at the continental breakfast which was equally delicious.
We will certainly consider staying here in the future if travelling in this area.

Small, local to trains and bus stations. On the edge of the town centre. By the river, pleasant surroundings. Felt homely! Much better than a big hotel! Oh and a personal reason it’s opposite a brilliant record shop (I don’t think the owners will be upset me me mentioning this!!).

A quiet town with good shops and lots of restaurants and coffee shops.
The station is walkable into town and a very good public transport to get around.
The beach is walkable but allow 20mins through the woods.
There are buses to the beach and harbour.
During summer there is a water taxi to the beach.
The river runs through the town and canoes can be hired.
For knitters there is a wool shop and a hand dyer who opens on Wednesdays.
Try Forsov a village nearby you can reach by bus.Go to Ellis for lunch 140sk for a fixed self service lunch, excellent food.
Vebystrand is the next beach along the coast it has a fresh water outdoor swimming pool near the beach.
If you like pottery try Hoganas.

A perfect spot to pause and relax.
A perfect spot to pause and relax. We spent 3 days in town over Midsommar and it was gorgeous. The beaches are great, we enjoyed the hiking trails around town and there were a few good grocery stores to stock up for cooking in the accommodation. The town has a relaxing vibe and we would definitely consider coming back! Easy to reach on a train from Copenhagen or Göteborg airport.
The rooms were very nice: spacious & nice colors, nice furniture, large bathroom. The owners are super friendly people and can tell a lot about what to do and where to go. Breakfast plate looked fabulous. It was enough and I liked the fact that it limited waste compared to breakfast buffets. Allergy restrictions were taken into account. We can definitely recommend this hotel.
This small hotel near the river was an excellent place to stay on our cycling trip around Sweden. The room was large, and we had everything we needed for our one-night stay. Our host, Monica. was extremely helpful. We were able to use the laundry and store our bikes in a locked room. The location was close to the centre but very quiet. Highly recommend.

If you have dogs there are nice trails to walk around the hotel and large green areas to play at.
The dinner in the restaurant was very good.
You are allowed to eat in the outdoor area and in the lounge area outside the restaurant with dogs.
I like the hotel have good quality of all aspects we need. Staff are nice and kind, room was clean, hotel restaurant cooks good food and free parking. We checked-in in the evening and the hotel restaurant served us a very good dinner. Both of us were satisfied.
Nice hotel with a lot of facilities, including gym, wellness area, game room etc. Breakfast was good with a nice seating area facing the street. We were lucky to see the whole parade of retro cars during the breakfast, what an amazing start of the day!
I had such a nice time here. Small hotel, all on one floor, street level. Parking in front of the door. And such lovely hosts! Brought delicious breakfast in the morning with a knock on the door, at the desired time.
The staff was extremely friendly. Their replies to my emails were quick and helpful. The room was clean and the breakfast beat all my expectations. The hotel is close to the city center and the railway station.
