We were a group of 3 people and we really liked the Hotel, it's noi a luxury one but we actually liked the natural hotel as some years ago: a kind woman to welcome you, moquet on the floor, warm room, nice and clean bathroom with all the towels, the beds were confortable! If was a perfect room for three people, one big bed and a single one which were a bit separated from a wall to give intimitacy. There is a park in front of the hotel and it's perfect as a place because it's close to Brasov and on the main road to the castles and other directions. We recomend it!!!

Probably one of the best accommodations we've ever stayed in: amazing location and the cosiest place! the communication with the host was very smooth, they were always available when we had questions. There was coffee and tea available, as well as all toiletries (incl. hair drier). The best welcome with the cosy fire already waiting for us when we arrived.

We were 7.5 kms, on the 7 th floor, with parking, away from the centre , but it was our choice, you could see the snowcapped mounrains. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, the room was spacious, very clean, good furnitures, got à gas station accross the road, was very convinient to head forvisiting places around in your car.The breakfast was very well provided. We were very much happy with our stay, and recommend yhis place anytime.

This is the hotel to stay in if you go to Poiana Brașov! We can’t wait to return. It’s elegant and has a relaxed vibe, the staff are very friendly and helpful, there is plenty of choice at breakfast and the spa is a great spot to relax. We had the opportunity to see different rooms on another occasion and we thought that they all looked beautiful. This time we were lucky to receive an upgrade and stayed in a very beautiful suite (number 601) with wonderful views, a sauna and balconies on both levels. We will definitely return to this hotel.

The location is near the Piatra Mare hiking trails - Piatra Mare peak, 7 Stairs gorge, Tamina waterfalls and gorge, etc. There were several warnings in the woods, remembering tourists how to prepare for encounters with wild brown bears, but luckily we haven't encountered any. The new Piatra Mare cabin was a a welcome surprise, offering traditional bean soup (very tasty) and some drinks and snacks, but sadly the other cabins in the area were abandoned. Good signs and markings on the trails, except at Tamina gorge - no sign was showing tourists to descend on the path to the right and than turn left at the creek to enter the gorge and climb the stairs through the gorge, then go up the hill to arrive at the starting location (no markings or signposts around and at the gorge).

Pretty place, I visited Sapte Scari Canyon. The route is nice, there are two paths, the long and short one. 2h30 the short one, 3h30-4h the long one. Pay attention after the Waterfall ladders because it's quite easy to miss the signposting for the short route, especially because you wouldn't imagine that the path towards it it's actually a path. I had to go back and ask myself "That doesnt look like a path, should I take that way? I mean... there was an arrow pointing that way..."
START THE TRIP EARLY, I went there at around 2pm and got back at around 5.30 on a November day, cloudy and rainy in the afternoon. It was almost pitch black by 5.30. No lights at all anywhere, literally had to use my cellphones' LED to survive there and find my way back.
Would definitely go back to visit the ice cave. There are some other pretty attractions i saw listed on a map in the entrance of the "park".
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bathroom was clean too. There were towels and soaps provided by the hotel. The breakfast was nice and simple and it was promptly ready at 8 am.
Very easy access from the national road, safe parking behind the hotel, with prior agreement you can dine and the menu is very good, also very kind and helpful owners.
