Just a perfect place to stay in this timeless delta village. The staff were extremely helpful despite the language barrier and the whole relaxed vibe in the place was just what we needed after the jong journey here. It's not an easy place to get to but better for all that. Obviously, the great weather helped and we weren't as bothered by mosqiotoes as we expected. Mind you, we were deet-ed up to the eyeballs!
We only dined there on the first evening but the fish was absolutely superb. Anca helped organise a couple of trips for us and made our entire stay here a wonderfully relaxed experience which is what holidays should be all about.
Green Village Resort is set in a picturesque area of the Danube Delta, less than 2 km from the Black Sea, and offers an outdoor pool, an outdoor hot tub and free access to a sauna.

Great location - Danube Delta is absolutely amazing! The resort is beautiful, very clean and with great facilities. Great breakfast included in the price. Restaurant food is also very good. The staff is very friendly and available to help at any point.

The staff was nice, the owner arranged for the transfer from Mahmudia to Sf Gheorghe ( boat) and back. Location of the house is near the center of the village, there is a supermarket - La Doi Pasi nearby with food, cosmetics and other staff. Also close to restaurants.
Breakfast was good and there is a nice dinning room with fridge ( drinks available), cuttlery, coffee machine, toaster. Lunch and dinner can be served.
The room had aircon, bathroom with toilet and shower. Bed was confortable.
The location is quiet and relaxing, there are some trees in the courtyard, walnut and figs. Excelent fig marmelade was served at breakfast.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay in the magical Sfantu Gheorghe. We enjoyed our stay in this sweet, colorful, thoughtfully put together space. Christina is an incredible host, full of energy and thoughtfulness for her guests. If wanted she is able to arrange delicious food, and amazing boat excursions as well. Our time there was very comfortable. Highly recommend and would love to return.

Location is good, close to the minivan that takes you to the beach and 2 supermarkets. Also 2 restaurants are nearby.
Room was really clean and trash was removed everyday from the room.
It is an adult-only place, hence quiet.

Great place, too bad that the villagers don’t care too much of their village. The houses are not well taken care of and it’s too bad to see that unique locations like these will be lost forever because of lack of interest.

The Danube Delta is a unique place, unique in the world I am sure of it. The village of Sf Gheorghe is located right at the end of the southern arm of the Danube, where the river drains into the Black Sea. This wonderful fisherman village is isolated which means here you can find all the peace and quiet you need. You have acces, within walking distance, to both the Danube for fishing and cruising and the beach at the Black Sea for sunbathing and swimming. From the village you can take many cruises and explore the numerous small and charming canals where you will see many beautiful birds of all sorts and nuphars. It is an experience you will never forget.

Small very quiet fishing village. Not a welcoming place. No place for information. No information anywhere as to what's available in the village. Difficult place for travelers not in a group or on a tour. They make no effort to sell themselves. They have no idea what customer service is and this goes for most of Romania. They could care less if you are there or not. A wasted two days, skip it and just go to Sulina. I'm a retired American living in Cluj, Romania for several months.

It was exactly as described in the announcement. Sfantu Gheorghe is a small town, so you could access everything within the location. The beach is approx. 30 minutes walking distance away but you have the possibility to travel with the local transportation for 5 Lei - we preferred walking. The breakfast was ok for accommodation like this, it's nothing special though. The staff was very friendly and very helpful.

We were 4 girls who went to Sfantu Gheorghe for the first time, during the international film festival called ANONIMUL (which is well known in the area). The rooms were clean, we booked two and one had a weird smell, it took quite a while to get rid of it but we managed. We enjoyed very much the silence and the pool. And the fact that our room was cleaned (almost) everyday.

- AC was working just fine and can easily handle cooling.
- Comfort and space is like a 4 star hotel (without working table, but you're supposed to be in vacation, so no need).
Nicely located close to the center of Sfantu Gheorghe, the property was exactly like it was described & like it looks like in the pictures.
On top of that, the hosts are friendly & nice people, trying to make the best of your stay in Sfantu Gheorghe. Until now my favourite place to stay when spending a few days and enjoying the peace and quiet of the Delta.
I had my own small cabin with all the necessary equipment in a charming cosy countryhouse in the middle of Sfântu Gheorghe. Beautiful and peaceful beach in walking distance. The host was utmost caring and helpful, she arranged a phantastic excursion to the Delta for me. The best place for cosy holidays in Delta Dunarii!
Amazing vibe, Christina is such a kind and cheerful host, always ready to help with whatever you need. Of course it is a garden bungalow rather than a hotel room, but that’s the charm of the place!!! Would absolutely recommend staying. If I come back to the Delta, I will stay with Christina.
Perfect house, full equiped with a lot of things that you don t get even at 5 stars hotels. It was a lovely experience, and I'm definitely coming back next year.
