The port is interesting, with some nice tavernas and playground. Apart from that, there is not much to see, unless you are keen to learn sth about the way of living in this rural community. In this context, it is worth mentioning that the churches really stand out - they have shiny roofs and nice mosaics on the walls. It makes an impression that religion plays a very important part in the lives of the inhabitants of Sarichioi (and probably its surroundings). Also, you can observe how neighbours interact with each other - they meet in front of the houses and chat when the evening comes. Maybe part of the reason for this is the fact that internet connection is really poor in the whole area and the inhabitants still practice interactions in the 'good, old-fashioned way'.

The area is a quiet one, very close to the Razim Lake (1km), so it’s very good for those interested in fishing. Also, there are some good places to visit, such as the Enisala Fortress or the Babadag Mosque “Gazi Ali Pasa”.
