The location is amazing. Away from the big main road and due to this you can enjoy the sounds of nature without disturbance. The view is fantastic. Be careful when booking as not all rooms have AC and in the summer, like it was for us, even though the room keeps quite cold it was getting a little too hot for our comfort, especially during the night. Because you are next to the water, the humidity is huge, but we had a dehumidifier in the room that stayed on continuosly. A lot of water sports that can be done with what they have there which is really nice and there are many hiking trails around.

The location is just on the side of Danube, offering a stunning view during the day. You can see the fishes swimming in the water. It offers a very good value for the price, although it doesn't look like new. The personnel was very friendly and helpful.

Owners were super friendly and welcoming, rooms were clean. Pool a little smaller than expected but great still and a good temperature. The owner has a friend who does boat tours and set us up with one which was nice :)

A very good option to stay. It is close to Lidl, the mai square and the property itself is very clean, cozy, spacious and it has a great air conditioner, bath and beds. The most pleasent thing was the terrace, as we were sitting their bery comfortable even when it was raining and also a great hospitability from the landlord. They ask tou if tou need something, if everything is working and also give some coffee in fhe morning and exolain the attractions in Orsova! Higly recommend!

The only thing to be seen in this city is the lake, and a boat trip on the Danube. There is nothing else to do in the city, no activities, no bars, many restaurants were closed, the buildings are old and not renovated with a great lack of facilities. The view of the city is sad.

The city is nice and quiet, and all good things are near the center.
Great to the take long evening walks on the promenade, but prepare for it with some mosquito repellent.

The city is very well placed around Danube River, mountains and 30 km away from thermal baths in Herculane.
You can enjoy the city in all seasons. Can get a walk around the Danube or klimb the hills around. Can get on top of the hill/mountain and have a spectacular view of the Danube both on Romanian and Serbian sides.
It is close to go to thermal baths in Herculane, just 3 kms away. It is great for water sports or just enjoying a boat/ship cruise along the Danube.
Can also serve fresh fish in the local restaurants.
Well beyond expectations! Location is great, "full freedom & independence" where you can feel like a "king in his own yard".
The host is very kind, with full-of-heart manner, helping you whatever request you desire. You are really treated as if having been close friends for years.

We chose to stay in Orsova second time on our trip across Europe! The photos of the apartment are spot on! Very modern place, fully equipped, bathroom 10/10. It was during a heatwave we were travelling and the air con was the best thing ! We couldn't be more grateful for that. Cute neighbors seating on the bench downstairs were so nice and helpful. Beautiful view of the Danube, close to all major supermarkets. Really we can highly recommend it!

First time in Orsova on a roadtrip stop over and we were lucky to book at this property on the banks of the Danube. Friendly staff had no problem that we arrived after the agreed check in time, secure parking and great views. Although we had no breakfast we were offered good coffee and a jar of homemade fig jam. Exceptional value for money. We are considering spending some holiday days there next time!
I liked the spacious rooms, the kitchen was equipped with everything. There is a washing machine which was really helpful, since I was travelling with my kids ;)
A big plus for the air-conditioning, it helped me sleep really good (there were 38-39 Celsius degrees during the day and like 20-22 during the night while we stayed in Orsova).
The boat-ride was AWESOME! have to do it again sometime.

3 minutes walk from Orșova promenade and 5 -10 minutes from departure points of Danube boats, which i highly recommend it.
Don't be put back by inside block details,the apartment is very well maintained and you can see it.
2 bathrooms makes a difference when the company is more than 2 persons and i will give it a big +.
Modern design, sparkly clean apartment with beautiful view of Danube over the roofs of houses. We loved the place. If we come again to Orsova will stay again there. The host was really nice and met us with the key the moment we arrived. She also recommended a boat tour on the Danube, which was amazing, we enjoyed every minute!
The apartment is great and the location is great also, near Orsova's city center with a splendid view of the Danube. Air conditioning, new furniture and appliances, cozy balcony watching over the Danube, fully equipped kitchen - everything you need to feel at home and have a wonderful stay.
Amazing place, I think the best location in Orsova! Great host, very responsive, and attention to our needs. Very quiet place with amazing facilities, a huge terrace, a pool, a garden, more than you can need or think you need.
I stayed here before so that's why I choose to stay again at Taka. The room had a great view over the Cerna River and after dark you can see the lights from Orsova. The location is best suited if you're just passing through.
Hotel has a splendid view being located right on the Danube shore. The morning coffee on the balcony was spectacular.
Also very clean and cosy with very friendly staff.

It is a really nice and clean accommodation. The owners are very friendly and they help you with everything. They explained a lot about Orsova and the surroundings and even dropped us at the location of the boattrip!
I didn’t stay here as they overbooked and informed me at 5pm when I turned up at the hotel. They sent to to a far inferior hotel across the bay which was mediocre at best with zero compensation for my troubles.
Very modern hotel. The room had all the amenities and very nice decorated. We got a room with river-side view which was very relaxing. Staff was very polite and helpful. Restaurant is very good. Free parking
