Please mind this stay was an off season business trip in November, we left in the early morning and came back in the evening. The place has two sections, one newer than the other, I've been in the older one. The room was clean(ed) but the carpet shows it's age. Bathroom and shower very clean and functional, no problems with hot water. Room had a nice terrace overviewing the pool (which was of course dry). TV working fine. No free Wi-Fi in the room, there was free Wi-Fi in the breakfast/main hall on the ground floor. All customers have acces to a fully tooled common kitchen, free espresso machine, free tea. The kitchen was a bit dirty when we arrived, with some unwashed plates in the sink. Cannot report on breakfast other that the guy who was managing the location was also the cook and he was offering cold cuts and omelets /fried eggs. Parking was available free of charge.

Vila Europa is a guest house quietly located in Sărata-Monteoru, 800 metres from the public pools, offering free access to a seasonal swimming pool and a hot tub.

I liked everything about the vila. The location is very green and peaceful albeit a little far from the center of the village (15 min walk). The room and bed were very very comfortable, there is even a small fridge, there is airco, the bathroom is clean, with shower gel and soap and towels. The breakfast was delicious and the host very helpful. There is also a swimming pool which we did not try but it was not crowded.

Hostel Denisa is situated in in Vernesti, 5 km from the centre of Buzau. Vulcanii Noroiosi and Ciolanu Monastery are about 20 km away. Sărata-Monteoru is at 10 km from the property.

It was a very beautiful location near the mud Vulcans. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got many informations about the surrounding and about interesting places to go. There was a nice restaurant with a view over the river at the location and enough parking places. We enjoyed every moment there and would love to come back sometimes
