This was one of our best stays in Romania.
Set in beautiful rolling hills of Bucovina, Casa Jucan is the perfect place to stay. As well as the three traditional homes it is also run as a small holding. They have pigs, cows, sheep and chickens and all the food served is produced on site. This includes fresh milk, home made pastrami and smoked meats, home made butter, yogurt and cheese as well as preserves and vegetables. They also had some very nice apple juice, wine and spirits which we were also home made.
The accommodation itself was beautiful and was like stepping back in time; but with hot water and electricity! We were made to feel very welcome and our children loved roaming around and playing with the young dog. The owners spent a lot of time talking to us and treated us exceptionally well.
We stayed in the oldest of the three houses and stayed in traditional bedrooms with wood fired heaters. We can’t recommend Casa Jucan highly enough.

this hotel is one of the most beautiful I've stayed in. I really liked the security, after 10pm the gates were closed and opened only with a code, only guests had access. as the capacity was small, but everything was clean in the smallest details checked by me.

Fantastic and massive room, with brilliant extra large and comfortable bed. Great walk in shower and best in room facilities (a genuine 4 star hotel). Located slightly away from centre, but has a restaurant on site, so very handy. Overall, one of the best hotels we have stayed in for a long time and highly recommended. Definitely coming back soon.
