Great view, nice restaurant with huge portions of tasty food
The hosts were great. We asked for some advice on the route there because of road closure and they helped to take the good decision. Upon arrival, they were very welcoming. The guest house has nice rooms, very clean, good shape. Quiet and we had a good night sleep. It is also close to attractions in the area, the castle ruins, the lake, the Ceahlau paths. The breakfast is available on demand. It was a great breakfast with platter and omlette and sweets. Our kid was offered cereals and milk. Payment by card available. Good place to stay!
Mountain View Ceahlau is situated in a beautiful and quiet area, perfect for a good sleep and relaxation. The view of the mountains in front is amazing!
Everything was very comfortable and made our one night stay an enjoyable experience. The fresh air, the cleanliness, the perfect beds and pillows and the overall atmosphere, all make this accommodation the perfect place to recharge your batteries.
We've had breakfast at the property the following morning, it was very enough and very good.
In the Ceahlau/Durau area there aren't many decent places for accomodation and this new one is the best by dar. It shows it has been built with quality materials, looking at the furniture, carpet etc. The staff is warm and helpfull and the location is quiet and you can see the montains and the lake. You can have breakfast and even eat at their restaurant if you like. It's definately a place to revisit.
We came just to spend one night before going to Ceahlau national park just a few km nearby. Comfortable and clean, with access to a kitchen and shared bathroom. There was a TV, fridge, stove and a tasty tea. Was able to park a car on the property. No problem with a late check-in. Had a very good night rest which proved much needed while trekking next day :)
Very good location in the middle of the forest on the way to Toaca peak in the Ceahlaul massive with a quite fast (1,5 h) and easy access from Durau. Clean, comfortable rooms, nice compact facility, with half board big meals + drink and sauna / jacuzzi all included in the price. Highly recommended.
Nice hotel but in July seems like off season. Nobody at the reception for first, than a girl making numerous calls to make a check-in. Room was with nice view and big but sheets weren't 100% clean.
Good location for Ceahlau hiking. Clean and tidy. Very hot and cold water in bathroom shower / tap. Cosy outside sitting. Friendly staff. Sufficient parking space in the yard.
Total is a nice and clean accommodation, in a very good location to visit the Ceahlau National Park. Nice and attentive staff, and a curious decoration!
