Excellent location to explore Maramures. Great hospitality by the hosts. Room is spacious, and the outdoor kitchen well equipped. Beautiful garden. Location with a special atmosphere and excellent mix of authentic Maramures feeling and modern comfort. Host helped us with renting trail bikes - cycling was for us a perfect way to experience the area.

The owners were very welcoming and helpful, and we had a lovely chat with the lady. We had a wonderful and plentiful home cooked dinner on our first day. Being able to have dinner there was a bonus because we arrived around 19.30 and the options in the area were very few. The place is very well located if you want to explore the area by car. It's a non-pretentious and charming place.

We loved the wooden church and beautiful wooden gates in the village. The setting of the town with mountains on all sides is postcard perfect. The location was a good launching pad for visiting the wooden churches, Merry Cemetary and Sighet. There are not many restaurants in the area, so we usually ate in places near the chuches we visited.
