It is an old hotel from different era, but I felt so comfortable. The service was excellent, and the food brought me memories of my grandmother which pass away 30 years ago, I'm an Israeli 70 years old.
The Spa, the treatments was like in old time. My Masseur was blind lady and she was excellent.
I never went to the public spa of Felix the hotel facilities were much better, though the hotel is located near the entrance of Felix famous public Spa .
I moved to another town another hotel and I felt doing big mistake not spending more time in Nufarul Hotel

Appolo has become a slum! You have ruined everything, an infernal noise, the water in some pools is dirty! People with skin problems, with visible bandages enter the pools without restraints! You don't have a ticketing system in 2023, you suffocate in the bathroom! Playing with the ball in the pools is something normal, jumping into the pools is something usual. All afternoon there is an infernal noise from those with speakers who have the impression that everyone appreciates the noise of *taragot with a touch of mane. You made Felix miserable with these grabs. You have become the dream place of the uneducated.

Băile Felix is a good holiday destination but for only 3-4 days because it is very small so there's not much to explore. The pools are good but I recommend going there in autumn or spring ( or even winter if you are brave 😊) because in summer the thermal water gets very hot.
What I didn't really like is that the pools close at 8 pm and in summer is when the temperatures go down and you can finally enjoy the thermal water so it doesn't make much sense.

Lovely spa resort 1h drive from skying facilities, and 2min walk to Lotus aqua park, 15min walk to President aqua park. Lots of good restaurants like Rustic. Fresh air, big natural park/ woods nearby with Olympic track and cycling trails.

people are nice, thermal water is a great asset, the whole place is changing and probably will be far better in the future, current status removed a lot of parking spaces from center and made place for bikes, people with special needs now lack proper parking near the center
We like the hotel, it was clean, and the room very spacious, the reception staff help us with all the request that we had. They put an extra bed in our room. The food was very good ( exception been made at our arrivals when the food was very salty). The lady try to accommodate the vegetarian meniu too which is not a easy tasks when you are in Romania, as Romania people eat meat with each meal.
We really appreciate this.

A trip to this hotel is like a time scratch: you're thrown in a socialist world done better. The people working here go above and beyond to make everyone comfortable and they have that genuine, kind politeness that we seldom see. I didn't even feel the need to look at my phone throughout the whole day, that's how fascinating it was to literally go back in time, in a better version of the past. The eggplant salad was insane! We really enjoyed our time there.
Excelent location, at walking distance from Apollo but also from President thermal spas, also from restaurants and everything you could do there. The hosts were nice and available every day for whatever things and information we needed. The room was very clean and warm, very important considering the temperature outside was around 0. We are definitely recommending for a stay in winter but also in a different time of the year… and we hope to return soon.
If you are looking for 4 star hotel glamour but want a private space, this is the place to be. We had the best time: intimate, comfortable, wonderful design and a nice host. For 48h we never left the property (all group was familiar with Baile Felix/Oradea so not interested to visit around). Favorite spots of the group were the pool and the kitchen-living room area.
The staff was friendly and gave us all the information we needed. The room was very nice and comfortable. The location was good, 20 minutes from the restaurants and the center of the city. The restaurant at the hotel was very good, no need to go out for lunch and dinners All in all we enjoyed the 5 nights in the hotel and we strongly recommend it.
Inner pool full, smelly, outer one, with 2 degrees less then comfy, after 1 hour in outer pool, was.... Rooms ok. Food ok, but no minimal C-19 safety measures (or not respected) in hotel or restaurant. Crowded in restaurant in the evening, no programming for a decent dinner.
Amazing host. As we were very late due to traffic, the owner waited for us and checked us in after midnight the minute we arrived.
The level of cleaning of the duplex was amazing, all this as my wife is very OCD about it . Close to all the water parks. Highly recommended

The room (actually, they gave me an appartment, thank you so much!) was very clean, spacious, tastefully furnished, with a lot of light. The same goes for the bathroom.

We've stayed at this hotel numerous times and every time we come away satisfied. It just won "Best Thermal Hotel" for the third year in a row in Romania and they deserve it. The food is great. The thermal water area can't be beat. We will be back!
