Everything. The owners were very kind and speak English, so we did not have any communication issues. The parking lot next to the casa is large, so it is not an issue to park a car or van. The casa is equipped with sauna and jacuzzi, so we were very happy to use it. The ladyowner also prepared us a breakfast. It was healthly and tasty and gave us enough power to wander all neighborhood and look at all landmarks.

A great place designed with so much good taste and incredible attention to details. The owners were so welcoming and fun and we felt spoiled with a breakfast with a variety of options to choose from. The location is beautifully placed between two lakes and so close to Suior ski lift. The view from our bedroom was really refreshing with forest and lake view. I strongly recommend!

There are 2 main attractions in the area, Creasta Cocosului and Lacul Albastru. The hiking trail to Creasta Cocosului is amazing. It's about 4-6 hours, 12 km round-trip, passing through forests, meadows and at the end climbing a peak from where you can see all the mountains in the area. The first 5 km are easy to do, mostly walking on flat surface, while the last km is more difficult, climbing continuously until you reach the peak. Access to the hiking trail can be done on a very winding road, but very well built, and there is also a large parking area right at the start of the trail (opposite Hanul Tentea-Pasul Gutai, that offers accommodation and really great food).
Lacul Albastru is also a great attraction, there is a parking area right at the start of the trail. From there, you have to climb for 10-15 minutes to reach the lake, which has a very beautiful color in the summer.

Things really improved over there since we've last been there, medical care can be found at a very high standard, pharmacies and shops open till late which could be useful if you have any needs or emergencies.
Modern, stylish and clean rooms in a nicely renovated building. We especially liked the recreation area with comfortable chairs, good books and nice albums. The hotel is a great starting point for a hike in the Gutin mountains. Creasta Cocosului (Kakastaréj) is just 2-3 hours away.
