Daniella was a superb host. Nothing was too much trouble and was available to help if needed. The room was exceptional with a beautiful terrace looking over the wonderful landscape. The queen size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very nice. There was even an extra room separate from the bedroom to sit comfortably. Can't fault the accommodation at all and a good selection for breakfast with homemade jams and cakes.

We golfed at the Palace Golf Course. Not many places to eat in Vidago, but we did find a great pizza place. Even though they were not "technically" open, they did fix a wonderful pizza and mixed salad for us. Nothing else was open so this was a wonderful surprise. Original owner has passed away, but his son now has taken it over and makes his pizza from scratch.
Beautifully renovated house in the center of Vidago within walking distance from a fountain where locals (and tourists) get fresh water. Leonardo, the host, was a very kind and considerate host, making sure that we-including our dog- were comfortable in our spacious and stylish room. Magnificent grand hotel, with a stunning staircase and located at the heart of its own nature park. Very romantic at Christmas time with all the decoration. Beautifully decorated rooms, faithful to the 19th century style but with all the modern luxuries. Spa is qualitative and good value. Comprehensive breakfast in a beautiful room with glass ceiling. Staff was top-notch.
Breakfast was OK, with all basic items available, some of the food items needed to be asked separately. It is great to have a dinner service at the location available, as the location of the hotel is rather far away from any nearest food store, restaurant or cafeteria. Friendly and helpful owners.

Property is very well renovated. You can tell that owners of this hotel is taking a very good care of the property. They have a beautiful vineyards next to it, vinery that host will gladly show you and tell everything about it and a nice pool to relax in.
This is not the first time we have visited Vidago and we are pleased to say that the breakfast has become much better. And overall the hotel is very pleasant, it is calm and serene, which is valuable nowadays
The beauty of the hotel is unbeatable. Marvellous design and atmosphere. The park around the hotel is big enough for hiking and strolls.
