We felt so looked after at Casa Cisterna. Castelo Rodrigo is a beautiful medieval village that is well worth a trip and Casa da Cisterna allows you to stay right in the middle of it! Such a cosy feel and wonderful dinner and breakfast. We highly recommend it.

spread with care ,attention and the highest quality! Help was always available in spite of our poor
command of Portuguese.
Our accommodation was roomy ( much better than the 12m sq. available on the River). A wonderful idea of
rebuilding a casa in the very heart of the history of Castello Rodrigo; but with the excellent comfort and cleanliness.

Lovely refurbished room and bathroom , nice decor and friendly manager who was keen to ensure we enjoyed outer stay - which we very much did .
Sadly the restaurant was ( unusually) closed on the night of our visit , although we had been informed of this already so this was not a problem .
Nice breakfast provided especially if considering the incredibly low price for the accommodation.
