The hotel is situated close to the city center, and it's only a 15-minute walk away. It's also easy to find parking near the hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Although the room is basic, it has all the necessary amenities, and it's quite spacious. However, despite the pictures showing a balcony, our room didn't have one.

The room was spacious and well equipped - very comfortable. The room was quiet. The extremely large building has a feeling of spaciousness. The views over the valley towards Spain are impressive. The staff were all professional, polite and helpful.

We loved the location and the landscaping of the grounds. It was lovely to look across the valley at the snow-capped mountains. The old convent was beautifully renovated to a very high quality. Our room was perfect. The dinner we had there was delicious in a beautiful spacious room with fireplace. I wish we could've stayed longer.

The sauna and Turkish bath were excellent as was the late check-out. Breakfast was also very good, many choices and dietary preferences catered for, lots of fresh fruits and the garlic/herb tomatoes really are wonderful, Bathrobes and pool towels handed to us at check-in was also a nice touch. Big comfy bed.
Just a 10 km from the ski slopes of Serra da Estrela, Solneve offers relaxing accommodation in the centre of Covilhã. Guests can benefit from free Wi-Fi.

I am giving 10 because for what it was and the price you can't expect better.
The hotel was very simple, you can't expect much from it, but from the price was perfect. It had everything, even if not big they had it.
For example, room was small but comfortable. Breakfast didn't had much variety but more than enough (at least for me), mine fridge with drinks in case you want. Bathroom small but with everything needed and clean.
The best part was the balcony view we got and the balcony was almost the same size has the room!
Is not a room for you to stay a long time, just for you to come back after a long day and relax lay down.
We didn't need but for 5 euros we could let the car in the parking next to it, you need to ask in the reception before for that and give the license plate number.
